  1. It depends on the size of the lady ... My GF is 5ft92 so even if she's really fit and has thin wrists she wears a 36 or 38mm better than a ladies watch Envoyé de mon Moto G (5) Plus en utilisant Tapatalk
  2. Thanks !!! I can try that. Unfortunately that hand is probably just polished brass so "golden" and not gold plated ... Envoyé de mon Moto G (5) Plus en utilisant Tapatalk

  4. My bad ... I forgot about the "seamaster". Now dial original or not $250 is really good. And you can see many legit (or so called by expert) seamasters with the same case. So you can just service it and enjoy, or source a mint seamasters or Geneve dial. In any case you'll be a lucky guy. Envoyé de mon Moto G (5) Plus en utilisant Tapatalk
  5. Thanks alligoat. The "problem" is that the 1975 handwind movement needs a second hand with a 0.19 hole. I already have one with correct hole and length (from the 70ies) but it's a golden one ... I'll try to use that one and see how it looks. Envoyé de mon Moto G (5) Plus en utilisant Tapatalk
  6. Seems everything is OK with that watch ... everything confirms Omega Geneve ... and the dial could be original IMO. Problem is that you probably paid it a little on the high range ... some "sisterwatches" sold for US$ 350/400 in France (plus shipping) and higher estimate I've seen was US$485 with a mint dial. 7. Could you test if has a quickset date ? 565 caliber HAS 24 jewels and SHOULD HAVE quickset date ... Late 60ies. Serial number 27.xxx.xxx says 1968. 6 digits (3.3) caseback ... ??? Envoyé de mon Moto G (5) Plus en utilisant Tapatalk
  8. I will do that in a specific topic ... as soon as the project is finished
  9. A member on WRT sent me a link to Ofrei's site ... HAN-6595 ... now I still have to get the accurate seconds hand finish that build
  10. YEP !!! wrong thread Joey ... I already answered on the other one and put a picture of my own dial build 😉
  11. Thant's really kind of you Joey !!! I was just wondering if Donerix had finished his project to know if he would share some of the problems he had and solutions he found while building that Commando. Mine is already on the bench at the moment ... I'm about to finish the case reworking and the dial and hands are ... just waiting for me to lume
  12. Hi Donerix 2.0 ... I read that old topic and I'd really like to know if you achieved to build that 6429. Envoyé de mon Moto G (5) Plus en utilisant Tapatalk
  13. Next step is luming a 26mm 3/6/9 dial [emoji39] Envoyé de mon Moto G (5) Plus en utilisant Tapatalk
  14. really nice job Mat ... congrats and Happy New Year
  15. Family wristies and all Rolex ... almost 16234 DJ (my better half), 16800 Comex (my elder son), speed moonwatch (my younger son) and my A/6538 4 watches, 4 "unique" builds, 1 builder of course 😋
  16. Will try to build both of those 2 Stellas [emoji7] so if I achieve those builds I could consider letting one go [emoji6] Envoyé de mon Moto G (5) Plus en utilisant Tapatalk
  17. Thanks !!! Will post more pics early January [emoji6] Profile is ... not that bad with 2mm fixed bars, "german silver" bezel and a nice big crown [emoji7] But that's just my opinion and I suspect myself to be sort of ... partial [emoji847] Won't be there a lot next few days because I'll take care of my grandchildren s. So I wish you (and all members) to have a nice New Year's Eave ... without any earthquake [emoji39] Envoyé de mon Moto G (5) Plus en utilisant Tapatalk
  18. Hey guys ... look what I got under the tree
  19. 600€ !!! at this level of price buyers could wait for a "hit or hit". Envoyé de mon Moto G (5) Plus en utilisant Tapatalk
  20. Well ... Hit or miss ? How much cost a Tudor case from MQ ? Envoyé de mon Moto G (5) Plus en utilisant Tapatalk
  21. From what I ear here and there I really think I’m gonna keep going the hard long way ... get a soso but medium priced case, rework it heavily, do want you want to it, enjoy having a unique watch. Yesterday I have finished working on a $60 Silix case for my A/6538 build and I’m 1000% happy about what I get. Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  22. Some searching on the net, downlaod the good pics then use those as templates in Illustrator or Photoshop. Most laser engravers can use 1:1 .air or .PDF files. That's what I did for my A/6538. Long but worthy [emoji6] Envoyé de mon Moto G (5) Plus en utilisant Tapatalk
  23. Really good job for a really nice watch [emoji106] Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
  24. If you don’t find any you can have a blank caseback laser-engraved then smooth the edges with a soft metal brush on a dremel. Plus this way you can get all the engrangements period correct. Here are some pics of what you can get that way ... not a Comex but same process Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk
