  8. Heh... Poor Blazer. And first time Ken couldn't compete on product... I think he was worried about his nuts for a minute then too. CaRAZy times feel good retrosale come soon to you now?
  9. And a $29 DEPLOYANT buckle is guaranteed [censored], let alone an entire 'leather' strap and buckle. But for those who wish to boldly display their ignorance, I suppose they deserve the wrist rash.
  10. They do use recently invented words like the rep community though, and their copy skills are at the old '80s 'quartz sub' end of the scale. However, their tragically over-sized vintage sub is better than their DSSD knockoff.
  11. And Ken's nuts are still at risk. Too bad there seem to be so many missing chunks of the old site. A bit like my brain these days.
  12. What is different between the new models is what some of us will be obsessing about in another 50 years, even with potentially better records. And yes.
  13. If that is how you feel it sounds like I hit a bit close to home for you as well. It takes some longer to grow a clue than others, informing them usually helps speed the process if they are not too unaware, or self conscious to observe the consequences of their actions based on the delusions they feed themselves.
  14. Sure glad he doesn't need this site. Nope, not one bit.
  15. Very lovely watch, excellent effort. Hope you eventually find an insert that deserves to be installed on it. ;^)
  16. Definitely a unique look. Quite possibly an improvement to a few people's eyes.
  17. So TomHorn, about these parts you have going spare...
  18. I am thinking medical would be more along the lines of something like 300.3, 301.10, 301.20, 301.8, and 312.30.
  19. What is lacking these days is a feed back loop to allow those growing up to grow a clue about what reasonable expectations are. Not just for reps. No one here has been impolite. Except those who might suggest others aren't because they point out misconceptions that cause aggravation for all involved, and many that aren't.
  20. Ever watch all the people in nicer restaurants taking pics of everything then complaining that even though the food was wonderful, the wait times were long and the service was slow? They create the problem for themselves and each other. Totally [censored] self absorbed and clueless.
  21. More like, know what you want, and don't take more that 5 minutes to order and confirm a $3.20 part.
  22. The mainspring and barrel of reps are usually un-lubed... You will notice this when winding movements with stronger springs and/or rougher barrels.

  24. I'm retired myself.
  25. Yup.
