  1. I think blue would be great but silver would look good too
  2. Thanks Pug... bored one day, did a little investigative work and noticed the file name had "-qr" so I tried to figure out what the hell that was, found a decoder, downloaded your avatar and simply followed the link... Wasn't sure if you wanted it "outed" so I PMed it...
  3. I sent this exact same email to Andrew about a year- year and a half ago...I sent pictures of it and he informed me it was a mens... then i went to an AD to try on a real TT datejust and...ended up buying it
  4. Woah...that dial really pops!
  5. No idea....I'm sure someone knows though!
  6. CBR did this for me too...some really great members here...I've been stocking up on parts so I can start helping out.
  7. Superb review...timeless! Great watch...I might have to pick up the new one.
  8. Ah...Roger, sorry By-Tor... I'd have to say my SSD V1... The rehut and bezel issues (not to mention the dial print on the 5 minute indices) were real dealbreakers... I've since modified a V2 to about as close to Gen as I could get it.
  9. Yeah I mean I'd rather know about the watch than spend my days searching for a comparable one somewhere else
  10. If you contact Narikaa he might be able to find one for you...
  11. Edited For Relevance...See post below.
  12. Interesting...looks like the Concord has some competition...
  13. I've done the following to mine: Align Bezel WM Pearl New Insert CG's shaved Oiled + Cleaned bracelet Other than superluming it, I think I've done basically all you can to the V2 without getting into huge money (I don't even know if a gen dial would fit...pretty sure it wouldn't) but I've been advised not to replace the crown or tube as they are "excellent copies of the original" and perform quite well. I've taken my SSD swimming and diving to fairly shallow depths (60-90 ft) and it's been perfectly fine... the only issue I have with it seems to be some junk on the reverser wheels (as per The Zigmeister's article on the subject) in that occasionally the watch won't wind off the crown (it'll make a rapid clicking noise). As such, it could probably use a cleaning but since I don't believe in handwinding watches more than the absolute minimum turns to get them going (again, as per The Zigmeister's article) it's not really a huge issue to me. Best of luck!
  14. Loving that Glashutte!
  15. Cool vintage...best of luck if you're bidding!
  16. Vintage Omegas are awesome! Another great rep that's not too loud is the Rolex Explorer I <--- highly recommended!
  17. Hey Paha and JimmyT welcome to RWG! I'd suggest reading all the stickies, getting involved in the raffles, lurking for a while and learning a ton from the members here! Feel free to PM if you have any questions and I'll try to point you in the right direction!
  18. Very, VERY nice...looks like a great band on a great watch! I really love that look!
  19. Were there pictures of the bracelet / source of the watch in the sales post or did you just buy based on a brief description?
  20. Gen and I agree, the 321 is money...
  21. Stilty, damn man I love your builds! Beautiful piece!
  22. Maybe one of the movement clamps (had that happen to me) or the rotor screw/assembly... shouldn't be a tough fix (unless there's some other sort of damage) but I'm just speaking from personal experience.
  23. Tres interesting. Thanks for the link!
  24. Front ones you can probably buff off a good portion of them using a rubbing compound of some kind... I had the same type of damage to my G35 a few years ago and got the majority of the scratches out as they're just damage to the top coat...just buff the living hell out of it and you can probably get a bunch of it out... If they're deep (Paint or primer) you're gonna need some work done...
