  1. HAH HAH...good to have Miss U. back on the block...
  2. OW!!! Got bumped... The faster we sell...the faster we draw!!!
  3. Another bump for a good cause...no wait...I take that back...if you buy 2 tickets, why would anybody want 1:20 odds of winning a GEN 1675??
  4. That's interesting. With the new ETA style rotor bearing assembly, it will be harder to immediately tell the difference between Asian vs. Swiss it seems. What are the most obvious tells??
  5. I just fixed the links...I think...I know the link to the The Zigmeister lume is gone...can't remember what I used for that... I also added a couple things, removed others...we should be good to go now.
  6. Very solid collection so far. You've got some definite top pics there with the new PO Chrono, The Discovery, SOH. Great stuff. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Rest is good every now and then. You deserve it. Listen to the body...it knows what it needs.
  8. Bump for a great cause...a great opportunity...and great odds!!!
  9. The individual posts that are linked are still there...the links are broken as the url references have changed...so I have to re-link them...give me some time...it's a bit of work!!
  10. Yup...8 years of university + professional certification, and I get to de-fecal the plop-boxes of the dregs of society. At least the people I'm working with are in a similar situation and we're making it as positive an environment as we can.
  11. Congrats. I'm still eyeing the green sapphire one. The watch is so understated in pictures...but when I saw one in real life, it really had a much more interesting presence than you get from looking at the pics. Thanks for writing this up.
  12. The A7750 generally is a good movement if serviced...however the Daytona mod to move the seconds subdial from the 9-o-clock position to the 6-o-clock position is troublesome. The Zigmeister's Review of the Seconds at 6 Movement
  13. That's really cool!!! Stick that in a stealth PAM!!
  14. I clean the toilets in jail cells. No joke. Along with some lawyers, directors of survey and mapping, engineers, etc...we're part of a redeployed management team cleaning police stations while the cleaners and garbage collectors are on strike.
  15. Has this started already and I missed the thread???
  16. Fantastic pics as always, and it looks to be a great piece.
  17. NICE!!!! What a fantastic opportunity to own one of these. A big congrats. Knowing some of the journey you have gone on from this board, I know it's going to somebody who really can appreciate such a rare and wonderful piece. Great condition too!!
  18. Welcome aboard...and yup...it's fun fun fun from here!!
  19. That's odd about the movement. If The Zigmeister says it looks like the 21.6k, and you say it ticks like it too...well...there you go. I didn't know they put on fake regulators on the movements out of the factory...learn something new everyday. That's too bad about the manufacturing quality. I might well get the El Cheapo Quartz model then...
  20. Just the fact that it's coming from Ubi is a good enough seal of approval for me. Awesome.
  21. Thanks for posting this. Is that an operational regulator on the movement? Are the new A7750s coming with operational regulators AND the ETA style rotor bearing unit (this one doesn't have this, but the Tags and some others seem to...). This is a nice watch. I wish they would get the subdials fixed. It's much "sportier" in a utility way than the older style ATs...like a Seiko Monster.
  22. The rotor is fantastic. It's an interesting update to a traditional design, but I'm surprised Taka, that you say it's not easy to read. The first pic looks difficult with the all the red lines interfering with the centre seconds, and the density of the dial in the top half.
