My 196 is long gone but I still have the 262, 188, a custom Panda and a spare case. If I wasn't long so many Swiss versions of this I would snap up that 236 in a second just to see how good it its. Kudos to Josh et al. They have definitely injected some new life into PAM's.

No. I have to get the case returned from the last person who turned down the project and follow the next lead. Another member has been good enough to provide me with a new lead so I will pursue that. Still looking for the CNC person who has a six-axis machine who will do a small run. What I have learned is that just because you can do precision CNC work (circuit boards, etc.) doesn't mean you have the capability to do a case.

Well here are some pics of mine for discussion comparing a gen with a couple of the old case Daylights. The gen is a 262 but the case is the same profile on the earlier 196's.

This is an interesting challenge for a number of us because we have to think below 40mm. Perhaps a vintage Rolex (6263, explorer, etc.) or a Patek Nautilus or Aquanaut?

187, 187, 187!!!! I would kill for an accurate rep of that $12,000 piece. Can't wait to see the 188 pics. Can't tell you how much aggravation and expense I went through to make a 188 gen dial Franken.

If the date pusher doesn't work it is a 7750. And even if it is the 7753 the He Valve and date changer on the side are way off. Historically there have been 3 versions of the 187. Original very expensive A7750 with far superior case but no functionality. There was only a small run of those. Then Eddie Lee tried his hand and ended up with slightly inferior case and raised "He" on valve. And finally there was the 7753 187 which had same raised He valve, way to large (but functional)date pusher and far inferior case. My guess is you have a second gen 7750.

I had the same issue with the original SS GST chrono. Still sitting in the watch box with gen dial and completely unusable.

Can't wait to see pics of the actual rep. I hope they get around to the 187 as well.

Interesting discussion. I thought V72's went for a lot more money ($1,000 or more when functioning correctly). Shows what I know.
