Not lucky. Just price insensitive (read stupid!). But I do love it. On the bracelet it literally just fit right on once the bottom tabs were lined up. It may have been luck as it is the first watch I tried the bracelet on. If you have the new case style on the 188 that would not surprise me as the strap pin holes are drilled too close to the case. It would not fit on my Panda based on what I can tell.

Friday - 7753 188 on SS bracelet. New combo and I love it. Saturday - PAM 187 Sunday - Tribalized and Ziggified MBW Red Sub. Apologies for lack of pictures. I dropped the camera and it died. I would have to cut down on rep buying to get a new one so it may be a while.

Great pics. Got it, love it. Really dresses up a suit. Virtually all dealers sell it in either Asian or Swiss swan neck. Eddie may be the only one that has it AR coated. I am very happy with mine from Lisha on AAAplusdirect. She is on TRC and I believe she ships out of England.

Sorry, I missed that. My 127 has the better version and my 217 has the other. The funny part is that the inferior looking mechanism actually functions better applying more pressure to the crown when closed and locking in place better.

I am looking at my 217 Destro and came upon a stunning revelation (although it may have been covered here before). I bought the best rep version I could find using PAM's own website pictures for reference. And in fact the rep comes with the "Officine Panerai" engraving upside down when the watch is flipped over with the lever facing down. The picture on Panerai's own website shows the engraving in the same direction on the bridge as the rep and that was how I selected my rep. But every gen I have seen has the engraving flipped the other way. Anotherwords, Panerai's own picture must be photoshopped or they took a picture of the prototype before they had engraved the new bridges.
