I got a clarke on mine. You have to get the retaining ring at a perfect angle and push really firmly. Where is yours not working ?

Nice NATO. Yes the crown is a bit of a challenge. I had to pull the crown really hard to get to the hand adjustment setting. Not sure if the stem is a tad short.

What model are you after exactly 305 , 389 , 571 , 569 , 508 364. ? Or are you not that bothered you just want the best ?? Have you read Ale's guide. That's a good place to start

Dsn 27 will go for about 4 -800. An EL will be 700 -1k+. Good luck with your search. Post in the WTB section

I think it looks great. The thing that would bother me slightly is the gap of Square Minute markers , they should touch the case.
