Agree the shipping is significant but the boxes are heavy items. Even with the shipping I think they work out cheaper than others -
Can Anyone recommend a decent watch box?

I have one of these. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/20-watch-Solid-Top-Vintage-Wood-Finish-Display-Storage-Case-Box-Polish-Cloth-/141671364462?hash=item20fc45776e:m:mgiCS345awhSAQoiJey5k6w i don't think there is a better value box to found. The seller has a lot of variations. -
Duh! Good spot on the lugs. It looks like they've be welded in 5517 style

Its modern because of the crystal and therefore its depth rating but because of the dial you get that vintage vibe The Rolex Submariner 16800 generation also introduced a modern standard of water resistance to theSubmariner line. The case’s 300m (1,000ft) depth rating endures to the modern era, but the 16800 lays exclusive claim to “first 300m” status within the historic pantheon of Rolex milestones. This really is the best of both worlds; a vintage watch with modern-Rolex performance. Wear it, enjoy it, and don’t worry. This Rolex can still roll out. See it in high-resolution images on www.watchuwant.com. http://blog.watchuwant.com/rolex-submariner-16800-vintage-milestone-time-capsule-video-blog/ https://8past10.com/blog/180-the-rolex-submariner-ref-16800-the-best-value-vintage-rolex Here it started all.. Once you actually look at what the Ref. 16800 has to offer you'll see what Adam was talking about. It was the first Rolex Submariner to have the following : 300M water-resistance, sapphire crystal glass, quick-set date, high-beat movement and was the last Submariner date to have a matte dial. There is a reason this Submariner has most of the same features as it's modern contemporary, it was the one that started it all off! This transitional reference has the benefit of having all the pros of a modern Rolex but lacks those unsightly white gold surrounds that plague contemporary models. It's also a vintage watch that can actually be worn. I doubt that many people wearing a 5513 are going to risk taking it diving or even down the street for a coffee yet the sapphire crystal means that the 16800 will throw whatever you put it through right back at you.

I'm not sure I'd call it a vintage but it's a 16800 from the look of things

Use pliers to hold stem left in side and turn crown to remove stem get one or 3 of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-2mm-Parts-Watch-Stem-Compatible-With-Calibre-Valjoux-7750-7753-/251640914078?hash=item3a96f7a09e:g:g8AAAOSwPe1UDvlW you'll need cut stem to correct length. So buy extra I don't think you need a new crown. But here's a rather expensive one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/PANERAI-MARINA-WRIST-WATCH-CROWN-PART-STEEL-MARINA-/311516527264?hash=item4887d4faa0:g:kQkAAOxyTkJSNBbN

You need to get the stem out as well

Get the Daytona and let us know what its like. this is hilarious http://www.weeklywatchesreviews.com/page/2/ BestReplica.sr guarantees the satisfaction of its customers with a 14 days return policy. This is applicable for all its Swiss Rolex replica watches. If you receive your knockoff and you aren’t happy with the quality then you can choose to send it back and request a refund or replacement. And after the first 14 days run out, you still have an alternative. If the watch has any manufacturing defects then it can be fixed by the company under the terms and conditions of its free repairs warranty. Now, there is something very interesting you should know about their warranty policy. They have a standard 2 years warranty and an extended 4 years warranty that you can enjoy by paying $90 extra. I think they all had them , kind of what makes them all the more unique I doubt that anyone would part the rotor out . Maybe on Risti you might see one for sale. wonder if you could convert a foil from a 6497 ? Good luck with you build , be great to see ST4

I reckon the speed master is the best sub 300$ http://www.pf-818.com/-p-17939.html

these movements only came with three 2893 watches. They are oldskool Eddie Lee/Hopno/Neil versions of 027/8 063 and maybe the odd 029 If you're building a 63 you might want to see if DSN has some. The version in this post has the infamous spelling mistake
