Quality write up thanks for sharing. Can I ask in the first picture of the Gen, what time is is? is it 3:30? and in your crazy colour hours is it 10:10 or 10:30 I really like these but never understand what time it is?

Are you still able to wind it up? Have you tried the Palm slap? If the spring has some gunk on it, a little bit heat perhaps from a desk lamp for a few minutes might loosen it up. This is not a recommended practice by any means but it worked on one of mine

It will be a simple fix, go through the phone book and give them a ring. Tell them its a basic unitas movement 6497 and see what they asay. Otherwise you may find it easier send it back to your dealer. Though that could mean a 2 month turnaround rather than 10 minute job.

HHHHMMM Beautiful & ultimate are very different things I reckon the most ultimate watch is the Panerai Equation of time, it is a technical masterpiece, it might not look much but a I guess thats its beauty Beautiful isn't something I'd asscoiate with blokes watches , but I would really like this Chronograph I like the balance, clean look and the splash of colour , its purposeful and striking but without any unnecessary frivolities
