  1. How I envy you, to have youngins again. I remember my son also wearing a watch from the age of 5, Casio as I remember.
  2. LOL. But really. I think parts may be best for me.
  3. I'm glad to hear this. I actually swore off dealers after my problems with DSN and Joshua, but heard so much of ET that I placed an order. He's waiting on shipment and QC, so I hope to have then soon. ET is the standard ALL "Collectors" should be measured by.
  4. You are a funny guy, still laughing! Holy crap, he's got so much hair it doesn't fit in the picture! I NEVER had hair like that back in the day 80
  5. We've all seen the 5218-202/A worn by Rambo, but he seems to change into a special PAM0009. Note the gold hands on the watch. Wish I had a set.
  6. My family's prayers are with your entire family. I'm sure all will be fine. Best to all in your home.
  7. You are correct I also have the 24 gloss Proto dial and Pre-A Marina.
  8. I have to say that's one of my faves. It's true about spirit and sheer neck snapping attention. I was once stopprd at a light with a Bentley GT, and ALL the attention went my baby, 1973 Stingray. My Favorite Cars: Aston Martin DB5 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Ferrari Testarossa Ferrari 308 GTSi
  9. I think I'm finally close to closing my troubles with DSN. He's kindly agreed to split the cost of the lost/seized watches. I'm waiting to see what he figures is fair to give me in credit, I hope to know soon. My initial deal was for 5 watches, but I will not have the credit to replace the 3 watches as I'm getting only partial credit. I need some advise guys please. Should I get 1 complete watch and maybe some parts or do I use the credit for parts only? I'm thinking that his parts coupled with my gen parts will make for some super hot Frankens. What's your opinion.
  10. Another GREAT Rolli PAM, fantastic as always Mate! What, no name engraved....I'm surprised?
  11. Just a little best wishes on the special day. This happens to be my favorite holiday. I do feel the day's name should be changed. I'd call it Dad's Day, as "Dad" I feel has a warmer more personal sound.....besides, what Father doesn't like a DD? Enjoy guys!
  12. Don't want to tell the mods how to handle this, but I'd lock it up tighter than Fort Knox and let everyone sleep it off. This is starting to snowball and go off into 100 different directions. Let's all have a drink, rest up, wake, have a shower and coffee and read all this [censored] again in the morning. I guarantee you'll wonder why your said what you did. BTW, breakfast is on me, I make a wicked French Toast.
  13. WOW, I extend all the same wishes to you as well. All you young guys haveing kids make me want to, uhhhh, nahhhhhhh.
  14. Guys, guys ..... settle down. I've seen this happen on several other sites. Why must we always let things get this way just when the getting's good? This is a great place with great people. OK, some are like that Uncle that no one talk about, but that's family. It's always money that starts things on a downward spiral. We all have an opinion and a right to express it. Seems like we can just make some adjustments and trudge on. You've all made valid points and you are all right, but let's please move on. BTW, Mods status always bypasses ALL filters and I know this as I moded on 'Risti and TZ.
  15. Congrats Pro, you are indeed lucky! I hope your Trio is doing fine. Now the adventure begins, enjoy my friend ... the memories are lived quickly, but last forever. My kids are 24 and 22 and I can remember every day of their lives. I wish you all much life, love, and joy.

  17. Thanks V, I've learned quite a bit from you. It's been an honor.
  18. Sorry slai, they only fit auto Marinas.
  19. Kind words TX2. All this because I googled the words "End Of Days Replica" and got a link for one of the great reviews here.
  20. Welcome, you've found Nirvana. You'll learn much here, and the upgrade is well worth it, trust me. I'm also working with Eurotimez and can say he's a great communicator and has stellar service by what I've heard. I would suggest reading posts on the watch (Rolex I assume) you are looking for before you buy, there are plenty of models for each watch. Best of luck and again ..... WELCOME!
  21. Yes Sir, here's the link. Tri-State GTG
  22. I've been here steadily for a while now and have to admit I'm very surprised. The level of knowledge here is staggering. As I said in a prior post, you guys know you watches from the inside out. I've learned so much in such a short time and from so many, it's no wonder I've yet to see a question unanswered. I'm impressed by everyone's passion for the hobby and how infectious your spirit is. I've been humbled by some of the finest collections of rep, gen, and Franken watches assembled anywhere. But it hasn't been all mechanics and eye candy. I've made some friends here as well. I regularly speak to several members and have even met a few. Now, I know that we don't always see eye to eye, but that all part of the fun. Many of you (and you know who you are, and if you're thinking ... he means me...I do!) have made me feel welcome and warm and fuzzy all over, so a VERY SPECIAL thanks to you all. This is a special place and should always be just that ... special. I was lucky enough to come in during the POTR auctions, and I was honored to lend a hand. I feel that it was part of my attraction to this site, the bond of the members. Well, I've rambled enough. I just wanted to share some thoughts and give a big THANKS to everyone who's given me the pleasure of their company or conversation, or the honor of their knowledge, business, and friendship. I'll just keep trying to bring as much as I can to the table and contribute anything I can. Thanks again everyone. I don't know if this belongs here, so Mods feel free to move it if necessary.
  23. Same happened to me, but the email must have gone through because he answered. Goold luck ........... ummmmmmmmm, 5512 project?
