  1. Yes! This one will be ordered as soon as it's out.
  2. I never knew the draw to the Fifty Fathoms until I saw the posts from the ones dying to see this made. After having seen a gen twice now I've love to see them rep this. It is a simple and classy yet badass looking watch.
  3. I was going to tell you that the 3717 gets my vote because it's just such a classy timeless watch but looks like you got both so I can't wait to see pics when they arrive.
  4. As far as I know they never made a gen Blacksteel bracelet so I don't know if we'll ever see a rep of it either.
  5. I thought the same thing when I first got my V1 SA. I thought no way can I pull this off with a 7 1/4" wrist but once I put it on leather and a gen Pro Diver I really started to like it. In fact I think I'm going to get a V2. What color dial did you get?
  6. That's huge. I can't see myself ever going for anything that big. Most of what I seem to like best if 40-45mm. Once in a while the Bentley 6.75 and SA or a Fiddy but that's the absolute limit of what I will wear. How thick are the U-Boats anyway?
  7. No not worth it. Though a tidy profit for the seller on that PVD Fiddy I'm sure.
  8. That's friggin hilarious fakemaster. Thanks alot that coffee shooting out my nose felt really good. Lol.
  9. Yes Freddy the fact is that a ton of stuff on this site and the others shows up in google searches. Several times I have gone to research things on gen watches and have still found myself directed here to RWG or to RG or it shows up in the top couple lines of the search results.
  10. I agree. Bet they would sell quite a few.
  11. A pair of Breitlings for me today. SA and TT BCE:
  12. Those quotes from EL are great. A couple of them had me damn near on the floor. Sadly the days of EL were long before I discovered this hobby. But from everything I've read he was probably the best dealer to ever grace the boards and a hell of a good guy. Have no doubt the legend of EL will live on forever.
  13. Wow love that picture of the GMT-IIC freddy. I'm so on the fence about this one. I have a chance to get a CHS version but I'm not sure I want to risk having yet another one of these CHS Rollies as I already have a couple.
  14. Saturday was the 092 for me:
  15. Sweet lani. I've read your other posts and reviews on it. I'm thinking I may go for the non-chrono SOH though. I have so many chrono's already. Waiting to see someone put one of these OR straps on the V2 SA as well. Have seen a couple gens with it and they looked good.
  16. NIce comparision of the gen and rep. Rep looks pretty good though. Even in pics you can see the difference in the dials though. Sharper edges on the crown are noticable on the gen as well. Those are the two biggest things that jump out at me.
  17. I can't remember if it the subdial alignment or the dw placement but it's one of those two things that prevents the different dials from working on the different mvts. There are some others here that know these far better than me and hopefully can provide a better answer.
  18. Haven't worn the HBB in a while so that was today: And have been missing the weight of the UPO on the bracelet so I switched it back for a while:
  19. Nice Lani! What do you think of the Ocean Racer strap & deplyant buckle? Is this worth picking up?
  20. By-Tor I never tire of seeing this one.
  21. That looks really cool Is it just me or does that actually look a lot closer to the color that the Blacksteel Skyland rep should be as opposed to how it currently looks in the dealer pics?
  22. The UPO is a great choice and probably among the most popular reps bought (even after having been out for some time). The IWC 7 Days is nice but there are some flaws. Among other things the datewheel should be black instead of white. If you have your heart set on the 7 Days go for the lighter colored dial version as the gen of that has a white datewheel (at least I think it does).
  23. Holy crap! What a work of art.
  24. The Zigmeister built/lumed 113E on 1st Gen GSD Crazy Horse. Does it get any better than this:
  25. Looks great T! One of these days I'm going to have to give in and get around to adding at least one vintage Rollie to the collection.
