Between the two I would go with the PureTime one. If I'm not mistaken you can get it with the CP fix done and superlumed. Pass on the TT "Ultimate Swiss" version. You will not get a watch with the movement pictured. The movement pictured there is the engraved bridges swiss and that mvt has not been available for some time. There have been a couple of RG members who have purchased that over the past year and when they have posted pics of it they have in fact been sent an asian mvt watch including the flared balance wheel spokes. As for DSN that's an option but be aware that he has not had the correct "E" mvts for quite sometime now. You will get an "H" mvt which is incorrect for a 127. If you're open to the destro Marina Militares you could always go with a DSN 217. If you want a nice Fiddy keep an eye on the sales sections on the various forums. They do come up for sale from time to time.

Wow nice review morlock. That's not a bad looking watch at all for $100. Pearl is even decent at that price range as well.

+1 to what ken and lani said. Spend a few days browsing around here and you should have a great idea of what to look for and where to buy it from. You have struck a gold mine of knowledge here.

I'm going to have to go along with you guys on liking the concept but not the result. Think I would like it better if it had been blasted first. Still pretty ballsy to do with a LE expensive gen watch.

The first run 050 that I bought for my GF did in fact come on a bracelet and the bracelet was very well done on those. She ended up wanting it swapped to strap though.

Nope they have never done a good Chrono SuperOcean rep but they should. Bet it would be a good seller.
