That sucks Hike. Not the first post on the forums about an uneven crystal on these. I'm sure your dealer will get you squared away with a replacement and all but it sucks that you're going to have wait while it gets sent back and repaired/replaced. A little QC would have prevented it.

The old factory Seawolf and Chrono Avenger top my list (and it's why I have a couple). For PAM's I'd have to say the older good version 036, 082, 176, 177 are also nice and for a mix of Ti/steel the old 192.

I've thought about one of these several times. They look great. How do they wear? What are they comparable to size wise?

Hmm I could maybe see two of these 2893 movements if they were new in he packaging (though I wouldn't pay that). Hope that you didn't pay $850 for one. Both my 2893's came in donor watches for about $300 or so each.

$850 for an ETA 7750? I've picked some up for far less as well as a couple donor watches with them in it for less than half of this. Sure you don't mean an ETA 7753? That's about what I'd expect one of those to be going for.

Hey dippy that's awesome. I have the same white dial asian SFSO that I bought from a member for less than $100. It's a tank and one of my favorites. Lume on it is actually better than my swiss one. Lack of AR on the white dial asian version is almost not noticable. Great value in this one.

You can get sapphire crystals for PAM's from DSN.

My first PVD PAM (DSN 195) showed up in the mail today so that's what was on my wrist most of the day. Wearing the BK Sub tonight.

I've been checking that one out in the FS seadweller. It's a beaut for sure. I just think that while there are tons of members that will jump on $200-400 pieces there is a much smaller segment that are willing to spend that kind of money (they are out there though).

Wow a very cool work area with some cool stuff there. Show us some more pics of the vintage pocket watches. There's been some very cool stuff released over the past year or so that might be worth looking at.

Even if the gen is $100 now I would still buy it over this for the price as well as the raised logo. Now the Ocean Racer I'm interested in. Curious to see how that one turns out.
