@ By-Tor - Ahh that explains alot then. No wonder dluddy is having such a hard time finding a case to fit his gen dial. Also expains about my cyclops being just a bit too far right. To be honest it's not that noticable. I think the only thing I'll have BK do is trim my CG's. Is the cyclops isssue something that could be fixed somehow? Either removed and repositioned or a new crystal put in?
@ By-Tor I have the one that I picked up from dluddy. It looks exactly like your white one but with the black rep dial even down to the #'s on the bezel being just a bit too close to the edge. BTW it has become one of my favorties getting worn about every other day.
If I'm not mistaken the answer would kind of be yes and no. The 2892-A2 is the movement in those however the one that goes in those has the SOPROD power reserve module as well. Hopefully some experts on those can chime in.
Well I guess the intention of that comment may never be known for sure. I'm thinking that the "the world would be better off without her" comment was meant to crush the girls self esteem and not a prompt to go commit suicide but sadly that's what the result was. What a d@mn shame. A beautiful girl with her whole life ahead of her who ended it because of this old hag.
WTF! It seems that there are more and more people like this in the world today. What would make someone do something like this. While I'm sure her intent was not what ended up happening the fact remains that her actions caused this tragedy. Hope that they hit her with the max on all four counts.
Thanks By-Tor! Yup it's from dluddy. A great transaction with him BTW. I shot the picture kinda off center to cut down on the glare but the cyclops is nice and centered.
I'm right there with you kruzer. If they did a nice Skyland and SOH Chrono I would get both. What we need is a good Ocean Racer strap for the SOH's. I know they can pump out a decent rubber rep strap. The new 1:1 UPO one that I have is great and very close to gen.
You know By-Tor I have about 50 reps in my collection now and about 20 of them are chronos running the A7750. A few of them have some quirks but for the most part they all run well. Not sure if they deserve the bad reputation they have.
You know I agree with you By-Tor. I think both EXP II and the GMT II are often overlooked in leui of the Subs, SD's, and Tona's. The EXP II has always been my favorite watch. In fact searching for a good replica EXP II and GMT II is what first landed me on the forums.
Hmm will have to keep on eye on this. I'm liking all this talk of new Breitlings (not that I need anymore, I have a dozen already). Now if they would just do a Skyland and do the Ocean Racer strap. I just can't bring myself to spend $350 for a piece of rubber and a deployment clasp.
A fantastic review of the Seawolf. Yours looks great with the AR done. I'll need to send mine out one of these days to get it done. I won't ever part with either of my Seawolfs or Chrono Avengers. Ever.
I never tire of reading your reviews or checking out your Franken EXP II. I like it so much that I just had to get a CHS of my own:
No mods or gen dial yet but maybe one of these days.
Sadly you probably won't see anything from them or if you do it won't be anywhere near the quality that you are expecting. Don't feel bad as there are many members here who found the forums only after being taken by a scam site. You can feel safe ordering from any of the recommended dealers here however. I've ordered from most of them and have always gotten what was shown.
Have never dealt with the seller but looks like they have been around for 8 or 9 years and have good feedback. Anybody know if the gen IWC Spitfire or VC Overseas dials will fit the reps?
Had a couple packages waiting for me at work yesterday. I already have a white EXP II but finally got a black one. Wore it today:
Anybody know what's special about it?
For tonight I'm trying this one out. It's a beast of a watch. And I thought my Fiddy's were big:
