Yes, I remember that - someone said they wanted to see pics of the watch and not some catalogue, Crippler WAY over-reacted to that comment. I thought "whoa, why the defensiveness? not a good way to start out".

Josh says that the dealer must take his own pics, makes good sense. Crippler offered to send a catalogue of rep watches to choose from. In my 4 years of rep collecting I've never heard of a dealer doing that. I thought that was unusual.

I have no idea if a better dial would fit, sorry. Personally I can't wear that Daytona, just does not look right. I have heard rumors that they are beginning to work on a more reliable secs@ 6 movement, but who knows how long that will take.

The blue of the dial and bezel are too light. Rolex uses a gorgeous shade of deep blue that is very difficult to replicate. Better to go too dark than too bright on the TT Subs.

I have one of those, a modern Daytona, black dial. Got it about 2 years ago, not worth it. Very inaccurate, silver subdial rings are too fat and shiny, looks really fake.

So the ladies were rocking some fine timepieces and are interested in watches, very cool. Sometimes wives/girlfriends come along and they have no interest in watches and are bored out of their minds, glad to hear this was not the case.

I feel for you guys who bought from Crippler, being the testers for the rest of us nd all. When he started selling swiss 7750 watches fro $399 is when I started to mistrust him. I truly hope he comes back and takes care of you guys. You know, Trusty got a pretty shakey start and look at him now.

Yep, the edges of the bracelet curve from the middle if you look at it in cross-section, it has to come that way from manufacturer.

The ends of the links should taper or curve in cross-section and no amount of sanding will get them to taper correctly.

Hmm, well you are a Daytona expert but I think the subdial rings are a bit too far apart and the the rings themselves are too thin, the dial does not have a "robust" feel to it, the subdials look anemic.
