  1. Sorry for this very short notice. We have a mini GTG tomorrow at Balestier Food Market at 7pm. Feel free to come. I won't be checking my email/PM but you will spot us pretty easily (just find a bunch of people with high end watches). Probably I will go with my Sinn U2 S on bracelet. Not many have this watch. For those who have not met me, I am 175cm tall, wear specs and fat
  2. The one that asked for refund on T60 is really inconsiderable and doesn't have eyes for beauty! I put it on a few PAMs and none of them turns out disappointing (on DSN pieces included).
  3. Mind you... Don't underestimate the power of T60. Has it on my 196 too I will go for T48 maybe in January after the holiday. Need a few for some more PAMs.
  4. never been called out before... but people do ask/comment, nice watch, where do you get this?, etc. Some thought that I am just mad to spend that much money on many watches. But never before I was cornered that the watch that I am wearing is a fake.
  5. That's really a shame for IWC Well.... The datewheel is indeed not centered properly but I have seen many Big Pilots/Portugieser 7 days and this Ingenieur. They look centered definitely. So I would not say that this is a specific issue with calibre 500x movement.
  6. Yes, sell this on eBay you will receive thousands of bucks.... Really! Those crappy quartz already selling at high 300 bucks.
  7. Nice pictorials but I would still say that the He valve is not located at the correct position. Somehow lug to lug distance looks compressed/shorter than genuine too.
  8. Hmmm... This watch somehow looks bigger than Corgi's Aquanaut. Is this the Jumbo XXL version? Anyway, datefont looks different too. Corgi's looks to have more Arial font.
  9. To echo the post earlier, I will buy all your stock if it comes down to 170USD per piece for genuine ETA7753.
  10. Get yourself a 130 bucks V2 SuperSeadweller. Change the insert and you are good to go! It's sooo close to the genuine article. It comes with Asian ETA clone of 2836-2. If you wonder it's the watch with "flat" crystal pictured below:
  11. I like Link series... but that Grand Carrera is not bad too.
  12. I have heard rumors about this at the start of Baselworld 2008. What makes it worst is ETA competitors such as Sellita also has trouble keeping up with demands. I have to agree it should be slowing down now due to global financial crisis but I have yet to see much of high end watch sales got affected (perhaps not so soon)... What make it worst is, they are aware of high end reps utilizing genuine ETA movement too.... So, probably more background check on potential customers. ETA may not even sell those Top grade movement for watchmaker/independent watchmaker outside Switzerland (legit or otherwise). Solution: stick to Asian movement
  13. pictures are of gen article but what you will get after paying and winning, that's another question.
  14. Most handwound comes with 1.2mm. Most if not all reps with Asian 7750 comes with 0.9 stem but you can interchange it with genuine ETA stem for 7750 which comes with 2 sizes (i think same case as 6497 series too).
  15. Same thing as Louis Bolle and the like... posted ridiculous prices online on their websites. In truth... can be had at 90% off retail price. They are afterall made in China watches with dubious brand history.
  16. For a great sounding portable MP3 player I would recommend Creative Zen X-Fi. Worth every penny spent.
  17. Awesome watch! If I don't mind asking, a bit out of topic. Did you remove the outer bezel ring first in order to remove the crystal?
  18. Yeah... tell me that 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, etc... They are not free either.
  19. PC here Couldn't agree more to recommend ThinkPad (now owned by the Chinese, Lenovo). It's just soooooooooo tough. Mine just refuses to quit. I have a very very old Thinkpad 760 which still runs on Windows 95, is still running. Now on more than 3 years old ThinkPad... again running flawlessly. As for Apple's hardware being overpriced, I think it's no longer the case. Read the article here: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/apple-...vista,1985.html If you are a hardcore gamers, PC/Windows based is still the best solution for you.
  20. If that is the rep I am willing to pay 1000USD for that
  21. This will just increase the value of your Sub. Don't change it.
  22. Yes, invert the spacer ring to be upwards It works on my MBW.
  23. I have one case set. Without crystal bezel etc. Only case without caseback with crown and pusher.
  24. I choose the drill by hand method. Takes a lot of time but it's WORTH IT. No it doesn;t slip, why would it? It just takes a lot of time and patience to do it.
