If the letters were R..E..P on the dial, be concerned and religate your watch to some dark lower drawer somewhere, maybe in the Outer Hebrides. Imperfection spotting has started to go way too far, to be funny or even intelligent.

March 7th. 2008. Been waiting since last Monday ( March 3rd. ) I had ordered a Breitling Superocean Heritage from Watchmark. The tracking no. had been sent and worked , on the Chinese EMS website, from the second day. Posted, Nanning, arrived at sorting office, despatched from sorting office. Arrived Guangzhou sorting office, despached from Guangzhou. Then nothing for 18 hours, " no trace of tracked Item". Bugger. Thought that I would try International Australia Post. EMS123456789CN, en route to destination, Australia. WHOOPEE. Arrival at destination, awaiting clearance, 1 hour later, cleared for delivery. Now anyone that has used EMS tracking knows full well that this is not the end of it. Despached to postal Hub, ( they have to drag it out , to make you think that the system is flowing smoothly.) Cleared for delivery at postal Hub, at 18-30 hrs. Great , we can be fairly certain that we are going to receive our precious parcel to-morrow. Morning comes, 9.00 am. ..... no sign of courier vans or Australia Post vans on the road. 12.00...... mid-day.......... ditto. ditto. We all know that when we have ordered a rep watch, that all other transport should not be on the roads, this is to give complete clear passage of OUR delivery van, we will get it faster that way. You will not believe what happened next. I had just finished my quick , hurried lunch, ( even had a touch of indigestion ), when I saw THE van pull up on the main road ,outside my house, within seconds , a beat up old Mazda, slammed banged right into the back of MY van. It was bad, very bad, and the noise of the collision......OMG. I , grabbed the phone and rang emergency 000, for an ambulance, before running out side to see if I could assist in any way. Smoke was starting to come out of MY van, the driver of the old Mazda, was unhurt and was starting to get out of the wreck. The driver of my van was badly dazed and appeared to have his legs trapped, then the smoke turned to FIRE, oh [censored], Myself and the other driver managed to get the passenger door open , and just grabbed the Australia Post driver`s legs, and started pulling................ Just like I am pulling yours now. PS. still havn`t received my package yet, but thought I would fill in with a bit of suspense.

It`s only an itsy bitsy tad high, and I wouldn`t go believing what ANY pollie, has stated in the past. Tax cut ? They will forget about that willy nilly if it suits them, and say a tax cut right now, would only fuel present inflation, meanwhile they give all pollies a wage rise of 12% !!!!

Talking about Australia now, anybody can bet their last dollar that interest rates ARE going to go up at least once if not twice THIS year. It is only slowly dawning on the Aussis, that they have to keep their wallets Closed, if inflation is going to be slowed. They can not think that they can spend money they have not got, ( ie , credit ), and , service a big mortgage! The last couple of interest rate rises will push a lot of families over the edge. Health insurance up 5% TODAY. Sad, but they were living too close to the edge anyway, to be realistic about surviving in today`s world. Higher numbers of morgage foreclosures are allready happening every week. House and land prices will fall, but not to the bargain basement levels, especially when a large proportion of Australians , allready own their own homes.

I think someone has forgot to mention that these 2 ( full ) episodes of "The Fake Trade " are only viewable in the U.K. and Eire, irrespective of whether you register and download the program.

A quick email to Watchmark ( app. collector on this forum ) with a list of what you require, could be to your advantage. Just write in plain, easy to understand sentences and you will be fine.

Gerry Hervey ( Hervey Norman ) once owner of the large retail chain here in Melbourne, Hedged some of his multi-millions by backing the A$ ,12-18 months ago against the US$. This was when the Aussi $ was 60 cents against the US $. The Aussi $ peaked at 95 cents last week against the US $. So its the same old thing, money makes money. Go for it whilst there is still a chance, but don`t put all your eggs in one basket !!

Really, I am sure that the process in making the reps. is not in question or interest, as most of us can speculate. I simply asked the "journey from factory to wholesale market" It`s all we may have if we dont ask for more (information ) ideas from members.( there is the speculation ). The dealers are certainly NOT going to answer any questions like this, This is a CLOSED shop. (especially to westerners ) So good luck to any fly by nighters wanting to open the source. Mission Impossible.

We all know that the watch wholesalers get their watches from the factories. How is this achieved, there are literally thousands of sellers, of different brands and quality. How many factories ? 5, 6 , ........12 ? Could the factories have wholesale wharehouses set up ? Do the dealers simply go to a factory shop? ( factory outlet ). Could there be dozens of rep. representatives hawking the different models around? Whichever way it is done, has to be on quite a big scale. Any ideas ? This topic is way , way off the original subject. (See Above ).
