  1. Congrats! He he... I think its sort of funny but for some reason all american hospitals use the same color scheme on their blankets. I have two kids and they were all pictured in the turquoise blanket.
  2. Nice Tutorial... Hmmm... I might have to refer to that in a couple of weeks when all my new straps arrive... Time to bookmark :-) //Cheers
  3. Very nice guide. Ahh... the wonderful world of macs //Cheers
  4. Been to watch prince before but never timefactors. They actually do have some cool nato/Rhino straps that would work in orange. Pretty cool! What about more orange rubber straps? Perhaps with a quick mod I can use one of the orange Omega PO straps and remove some of the logos? Any other ideas besides our regular strap links?
  5. Greetings, Does anyone know of a good source for diver watch straps in more colors than black? I have a couple that could use some new colors such as orange, yellow etc. I can order the regular citizen aqualand watch strap directly from citizen as always but for some reason I would like to try an orange strap. Any ideas?
  6. Good ole Citizen Aqualand; Active weekend!
  7. From the US with registered Air mail to china is approximately $13.50. //Cheers
  8. They look great! I might have to get a couple sent this way. I don't think they note on the website but I assume they come with a screw-in buckle?
  9. Welcome Drew Meister! PM me when you get a chance! Yes, it is me! //Cheers!
  10. Kev, As you probably understand, this is now the state as of yesterday with my 212. I'll let you know how it goes. //Pete
  11. Greetings, I have had an asian PAM212 7750 for about three months now and today I noticed that the automatic movement "top half circle" (Think it is called rotor) was stopping on the lever that was starting the chrono. (turn the watch around you can see this is what is engaging) Curious as I am, I wanted to se if the lever was just off or seated incorrectly so not having any tools, I removed the caseback with one of those plastic "towels" that you use on sticking jars and it opened up. After investigating the movement from a distance with no hands or fingerprints, it looks like at first the blue "screw" holding this start/stop lever down was very loose and needed to be tightened and it was also off the notch where it was sitting. I managed to move it back with a small tweezer on the notch but it still looks like the screw needs to be tightened with a very small screwdriver to put this back into place. Now, I contacted the dealer to see if I they would still be able to help me but it seems that this should not happen this quick? For the record, I didn't buy the 212 for the chrono and I don't need the function but I figured I would ty it a few times to see if it worked. It seemed to work just fine but very tough to reset with the 4 c'clock button. Is this something common our friendly repair people can fix or service along with the regular 7750 service or am I better working my way back through the dealer. //Thanks
  12. I think the 212 is the finest Pam ever made and just a beauty on the wrist. It is closely followed by the 111 and just a work of art!
  13. After market strap on this 212? Where did you get it? //Cheers
  14. I knew it. I thought I saw one!
  15. Thank you for the info!
  16. Greetings, I have been collecting beautiful strap pictures from RWG. The below pic is my next PAM and I can't for the life of me remember who's watch this is so I can find out the manufacturer of the strap. Any ideas? Is this one of the BOB straps? //Cheers
  17. I also have a PAM212 Asian 7750 on mine and it works like a charm. One thing I have noticed is that some days it runs 10 seconds fast and other days it runs more than 2 minutes fast. Does this happen on the Swiss 7750 too or is this something that is more common in the asian version of that movement? I guess service is in order... or perhaps sell the one I have and get the Swiss Joshua version with the correct black dials?
  18. Is the 111h mostly offered in the handwind version only?
  19. Greetings, Next on my list might be one of the Omega PO's. Although I think you can't live without a good version of the regular Omega Seamaster, I don't think it is one of the coolest watches out there. However, after seeing the pics of the new PO's, I must have one! Are they not released yet or are the models still in the design phase? I can't find them anywhere on the Omega site so are they still in the works, followed shortly by a good rep?
  20. Nice Pictures sye46... you do a very good job I think. Like I said, probably a preference issue and I bow out. I think I saw a IWC in the new flick Harrison Ford was in. That looked like a pretty cool product but the strap made that model I think.
  21. Tell you the truth... I am just so bitten by this bug these days that I buy watches that I like and look good. Next on my list is the Bvlgari Titanium from Andrew, and after that I just told myself I need a Rolex and that's when I started the research. After reading for a day or two about the problems with Daytonas I think a vintage model that looks cool is great and probably a little better. Also, I have the old Casio look alike model already so buying the Black Submariner [which I have been told needs to be in the collection at some point] just isn't on top of the list. After that, I guess I just need the Omega Seamaster and the collection grows again...
  22. Chronus. Sorry to hijack this thread but who is this woman in the signature? She's stunning and made me forget what this thread was about?
  23. Well... doesn't look too bad but there's still something I don't like. Perhaps the generic logo on the watch that makes it look like a QVC product.
  24. At first I didn't like Panerai's either but then as my signature says, now I own two. Personally I don't get why people like IWC? Are they not ugly? Let the flame war begin!
