klocklind1
That really MUST be the best sub replica EVER made Is it possible to mod ANYTHING more ( except for a genuine movement ! ) ? How many hours have You been working on this one ? Is it different lume in hands and the dial ? I thought it was the SAME lume on both ???? How did You manage to fit a genuine datewheel on it ? Wear it well

watcher
Nicely done, my frist series V2 was like this but I have seen recent V2's and this is no longer an issue. I wonder if George had some greenish lume to use up?!
Stephane
Amazing as allways Trib. As BT said, it's hard to believe this is not a genuine Submariner. Bravo! Stephane PS: I might have an interresting challenge for you one of these days
Tribal
Thank you all for the kind words Gang to answer some questions,I had two WM9V2 Subs one from the first batch and one BK. On both the hands had greenish shine on the hands and also the Lume color is different when you look under Black light. Defenetly no Superluminova, can't really say for the markers. It took me not so long to mod it like this, hunting for Parts took most of the time I think I posted about the gen Date wheel. It must be grind down a lot to get it thin like an overlay than it is only a swap. But after this I compared both Wheels and I think it is not necessary because they look really similar. Maybe a gen Dial in the future would be nice @Stephane My friend hope it's not a so difficult job hehe, let me know. So hope I answered all the questions. ThanksGang
rosnik
Fantastic job! Exactly my GEn like! Can your friend lume our dials too?
vlydog
Great work D, Does anyone know if the dial can be re-lumed also. In other words: 1) Is there enough room to apply lume on top of the preexisting lume without it spilling over the indexes? or 2) Can the old lume be removed? I find that the lume on both the dial and the hands have that annoying greenish tint in the daylight.

Tribal
Thanks guys, I think the Dial can be relumed for shure. But it's a hard job Vaccum is able to do this maybe just ask him. It's much more difficult to work with SL it was not so easy to do the Hands. I looked on the Dial under black light and now the color of the markers is different to the hands and Pearl you can't see it in normal light so the question is, is this really SL on the markers? Under blacklight SL C1 glows bright white.
