watcher
George has posted photos of the completed LV plus some other interesting items too including a 7753 project Daytona. Idon't know how to put up pics here but I guess someone will later.
ubiquitous
I'm somewhat curious to see what they do with the 16520. Mostly wondering if they will attempt to change the subdial positions to group them in closer like the El Primero...
tomhorn
Wow ... I think I'm officially excited for mine to show up! The project log is here: http://www.watchmaker9.tv/ProjectLog/2009-M-SERIAL-ROLEX-SUBMARINER-16610LV-PROJECT.htm Edited October 6, 2009 by tomhorn
watcher
That thought crossed my mind, we shall see..... I was concerned about the rehaut engraqving on the LV but it looks very good in the pics. Is it me or is the crown a liitle too near the case. I'm being picky though as it looks very good on the whole.
southcoast68
Wow, that LV looks great! They state that the 7753 movement shares the same layout as the Zenith El Primero, which would be great indeed, but is it also a thin enough movement to make a rep Daytona with the correct thinner case (or closer to it at least)? jfreeman420
The movement isn't nearly thin enough but the dial spacing is better than the 7750. I believe this is the base for the Panerai daylight.
slickdick
All looks damn good, except for one thing WM9 seems to suffer from are the crooked markers on 6,19 and 12. A real bummer because the rest looks really realy good.
chefcook
Lol, the think the T after the Subs reference no between the lugs means "Tradidionale". Never read such [censored]. The T stands for French "trous borgnes", in English "sunken holes" and is on your watch when it does not have lugholes.

By-Tor
What's wrong with those markers? I don't see them being "crooked". The watch looks really good to me... just as good as the black 16610 but with better end links. Probably not very realistic to except anything more from a rep, huh? marcoxxx1984
Considering WM9 processing time the 16520 will be available for my son...
charles fenom
i think the rehaut engraqving is not as good as the gen one . I have to reconsider buying it or not.

The engraving is tough to get done well. The black 16610 was available with and without... how about this one?

I pretty sure it is, i got to TT subs coming from BK, BK asked if it needs engraved or not. I reckon its the same base case.

YES I was wrong...........jiiiiiiiipppppiiiiiiie! I hope that we do not have to wait too long to get one! George said that he can only build 3 LV a day!!!!??? And BK told me that the bracelets was the SAME as the sub V2 (but that was BEFORE he got the cases so lets hope that they are better !) but we can hope that they are better than the V2 ones! By-Tor
George said that he can only build 3 LV a day!!!!??? That's FAST... since it takes a year from Rolex to build just one.

I ordered mine w/o, and confirmed it with BK that it was available that way after seeing WM9's site list it only with the rehaut engraving.
