Photoshop job... The second 2 in 22 is the give away (original grey is visible in the lower arc of the 2)

Looks the business though, it would be interesting to see one 'in the flesh' :good: :B)

Photoshopped or not, they need to make this watch!! I am with b16a2......time to clear out the savings account and trade in some stocks if that beastie comes to life! :Jumpy:

If Rolex released that tomorrow, I would buy the Gen. LOVE IT!!!

This is the first time I actually liked the Maxi-Dial indicies.

I think it's ridiculous that they don't offer GMT II with the Pepsi option. It's like not offering Ferrari in red. Blasphemy!

All black GMT does nothing for me. Red and blue are synonymous with GMT and Rolex.

It's not ridiculous BT, they just haven't solved the technical issue of producing a two-tone cerachrom insert as yet. God knows they've been trying for the last couple of years. You think Rolex wouldn't WANT to sell more GMTs in the most popular and characteristic colourway? Of course they would, synonymous as you say - Rolex these days may be many things, but stupid isn't one of them (*cough* YMII excepted)

I have heard recent rumours out of Bexley they are "99% there" though and that a SIHH/Baselworld 2010 announcement (not release, that would be end of year) is possible but not confirmed yet.

Meanwhile, here's a couple of other pics to salivate over....

Man,That watch is just begging for the Pepsi Insert! I have a genuine 16750 with a nice original faded insert, and it is probably my favorite watch. I don't care for the black insert at all. LOVE THIS ONE :thumbsupsmileyanim::clapping:
