FxrAndy Posted February 4, 2010 Report Share Posted February 4, 2010 Some like IWC are too technical, some are so fixed at 800pixel with lit is like going back through time and some are so flash incentive they are slow to load on slower connections (like the rolex site) Some have massive buy it now buttons that says to me we just want you cash we dont care (which probably true) What do you guys think, who has the best site all round. That said, I think my favorites are: Doxa MkII Panerai I will give Breitling a nod ONCE you get to the product, it is cool to play with the strap/braclet combos. Keep it simple! PeteM Posted February 4, 2010 Report Share Posted February 4, 2010 To be honest I have never found one I liked, there are some with good aspects to the site but overall I find them more about selling the image or the kudos of the brand rather than showing enough of the watches. I am not criticising them for it afterall thats why most people buy the big brands. I prefer the high grade used sellers, there pics are better the info short and sweet and no frills to sift through. The Doxa site reflects the tool character of their watches quite well. Me, I'm a fool romantic. I like Jacquet-Droz, very playful and also reflecting the image of the brand very well. Whaddaya think? That would be the whole lack of "Flash" support thing...that will soon be plaguing the iPad. On that note, the worst Gen sites are the Flash heavy sites.
