Paulw's sample mineral crystal is floating around still and going to another factory for a hopefully better quote... As always.. I'll keep you all updated. Since all his crystals are different from all the other dealers and also DSN is offering the best fiddy crystal, I think he knows which crystal maker can make it. plaifender Posted December 7, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 7, 2010 UPDATE: Looks like I've finally got a Sample crystal made! They're sending it to me by the end of this week.. I won't be able to mount it into my 253 till I get back to spain from the U.S. but I'll be sure to take some detailed pictures of how it looks. If the fit is perfect, I'll consult with you guys here, and see how many I'll need to order. The crystal is ssapphire with single-sided (inner) AR as per GEN. Not sure about prices still, but that depends on the number of people interested. I'm hoping to get the price as low as possible. I'll also take dimensions with calipers. Once I get back I'll take caliper measurements and lots of pictures and try to fit it on my watch once I'm back home in Madrid. I hope it's a perfect fit!!!!!!
