TeeJay Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 i'd like to know too ! They don't have alarms I believe it is the commentary for the first movie, but the tone of Statham's voice over to that part suggests that he's quite amused by the Panerai 'with an alarm' Also, from the note of pride in his voice, I believe that it might have been his own personal watch, rather than one provided by the wardrobe department (although I would not like to say that for a 100% fact, but it certainly seemed that he was taking a proprietary pride in it, which would be unlikely for a mere costume piece.)
Pugwash Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 Also, from the note of pride in his voice, I believe that it might have been his own personal watch, rather than one provided by the wardrobe department I thought it was well-known to be his own watch. Oh well, if it wasn't, here you go: It was his own watch.
Tom Hawkes Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 Yes.. He was wearing it while he was doing a driving training for italian job. I saw some pictures somewhere..

It could be well known, I just didn't know that I figured it probably was from the tone in his voice, but good to have the confirmation Yes.. He was wearing it while he was doing a driving training for italian job. I saw some pictures somewhere.. Cool
docdoc Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 I am watching all of the bond movies right now and when I see a watch (apart from the sub) I will try to post it. Here are 2 from you only live twice. This one looks like a navitimer and one from James himself when he is diving: don't know what it is, so far

fakemaster Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 Yeah those watches are old news. The top time was not a fantasy watch. Actually Bond has worn at least a half dozen different brands. And Rolex was not the first. At least in the movies.
JBond Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 check my signature to see all Bond's watches
docdoc Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 check my signature to see all Bond's watches I already saw it
fakemaster Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 That's a great list. You're missing a few though.

Pugwash Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Suunto? i thought it was Swiss Army ST4000 watch: You're right.
chronoluvvv Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 LoL Suunto ?! i never liked that show and its fake Repsol 1000rr anyway
Pugwash Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 LoL Suunto ?! i never liked that show and its fake Repsol 1000rr anyway You're talking about House, we're talking about I Am Legend. Also, how is his 2005 Blade fake?
chronoluvvv Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 (edited) well they tried to hock it on eBay but turns out the VIN didn't match the series after someone won the auction & double-checked the numbers it was an 05 Blade but not one from the factory, someone had swapped out the plastics. later on, the item was pulled and subsequently re-listed with a much higher reserve ... i think one of those boat casinos bought it probably why Honda came out with silver frames for the 07 Repsol and now plans to continue the same with the 09 Repsol Edited September 7, 2008 by takatak

Oh, right. It was a prop of course. It was a 2005 blade, and that's what matters. The Ferrari in Miami Vice was a fake too, at that point.
Maxlove Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 On the Natalie Gulbis show..her father wears a nice B&R. Someone might have already mentioned this though...

Actually Bond has worn at least a half dozen different brands. And Rolex was not the first. At least in the movies. Just that particular one was a fantasy model (by rep forum member terms)- a more proper term would be 'movie prop'... http://www.breitlingsource.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1856 http://members.optushome.com.au/heliosz/jamesbond.html
docdoc Posted September 22, 2008 Report Posted September 22, 2008 another shoot from Iron Man I think it is a Bulgari: and the new Prison break season: No idea about that one
Velasco Posted September 22, 2008 Report Posted September 22, 2008 I think it has not been mentioned... Pacino in "88 minutes"
TagShmag Posted September 22, 2008 Report Posted September 22, 2008 I was watching an older Bond Movie with Brosnan. In one scene he and a Chinese lady-agent are gearing up for a mission at her hideout. Bond picks out various items from her collection - weapons, gear, etc. At one point he takes a watch (SMP) and shows it to her: Bond: This looks familiar Chinese Agent: We've made improvements (Bons smirks, puts the watch in his shirtpocket) Later Bond uses the watch as an explosive device with a detonator. Which made me think that the actual watch Bond uses must have a thin Quartz movment to allow for the space to house all the junk. Which is kind of ironic.
Alexi Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 What are the presentors of the tv show Fifth Gear wearing? I can't make out what watches they are wearing at Chanel 5s Fifth Gear. Anybody know? Jason Plato is often wearing some Gold Pam. But some times wheres some other super expensive watch often more expensive, then the cars he tests. Tom Ford, has a diver I cant pin point, it looks like a big Citizen mixed whit a Coram.
b16a2 Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 Baked Potato (as Jeremy Clarkson so dearly called him - Plato) wears a Pam 140, Tiff wears the Old Navitimer (12,9,6), not sure about the others though.
