patinga Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 I just wonder how many of those crushed were meant for some of our members. Steamrolled Rolex's
freddy333 Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 Authorities say Tran fabricated hundreds of thousands of fake Rolex watches in his home near Philadelphia. Officials seized about 24,000 counterfeit watches and enough parts to create 1 million more.
OSRep Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010  I wonder if George has read this?..........
andreww Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 Guarantee every one of Philly's finest is going to be rockin a Rolie from now on!
maxman Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 It's hard to explane but I actually feel sick to my stomach. I bet several of those "fake" Rolexs found there way Into the pockets of those officials looking over the destruction. Na they wouldn't do something like that
andreww Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 Lol, read the story... Police seized 24,000 watches Bulldozers crushed 7,000 Still leaves 17,000 unaccounted for doesn't it?
mastrmindalliance Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 So... dude was making them in his garage? 0_o
MasterOfPuppets Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 What a shame, they would've had a beautiful life
southcoast68 Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 7000 watches crushed, hundreds of thousands more comming from Asia every year, what a waste of energy. I wonder how many other violent crimes were happening while all this good PR was going down?
chronoluvvv Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 yep 7000 were crushed in lieu of the 7 million they'll make next week
Bansenshukai Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 Maybe those had incorrect crown guards and a terrible bezel pearl and this is just an inventory adjustment.
gran Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 Maybe those had incorrect crown guards and a terrible bezel pearl and this is just an inventory adjustment. "watches were seized from Binh Cam Tran, who pleaded guilty last year to charges including trafficking in counterfeit goods. Tran is serving six years in federal prison. He has been ordered to pay more than $2.2 million to the Rolex Co. Authorities say Tran fabricated hundreds of thousands of fake Rolex watches in his home near Philadelphia. Officials seized about 24,000 counterfeit watches and enough parts to create 1 million more." My hypothesis: Maybe he did not actually fabricate them, but only changed the dials?
krpster Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 What a shame. I bet there were a ton of Genuine parts in there too...
drpsicochuy Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 I would like to see this kind of behaviour against real treaths (weapons) because lets be real, i can't kill you with a rollie, or can i?
maxman Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 I sure would like to see this guys(Binh Cam Tran) watch making facilities. Must have been quite the operation.
southcoast68 Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 I would like to see this kind of behaviour against real treaths (weapons) because lets be real, i can't kill you with a rollie, or can i? I dunno, I'll bet if I back-handed someone across the forehead while wearing my Deep Sea, I'd put them in the hospital at the very least
thogaa Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 Just reading the head line I thought a terrible accident had happened at Lani's house

Not a good way to start...especially when they said the people who wear fakes should be steam rolled as well But whatever, can't get worked up about it!
