Introducting my franken baby PloProf!!! I manage to find a NOS Omega case and hands. I had trouble sourcing the original dial and decided to purchase the replacement dial from CousinsUK. All in all...I think it turned out pretty good! I really like the unidirectional bezel and the way it was machined...very substantial!!!! With the construction, I'm actually surprised that this watch wasn't rated for more than 120m. Next is the shot of the CG's with the screw down crown. Omega must have taken some time to sculpt these CG's! A shot of the case back...the protective layer hasn't even been removed yet. So why is it a franken???? Well...the original was suppose to come with an Omega 1010...I used a 1012...thus I have to call it a franken!!! Now...if I can only find the integrated bracelet, then I can all this project done! You'll notice a small gap in the end -link. But the bracelet is substantial also! Built like a brick house. So I asked my watch smith if he can order the original bracelet...
