JohnCocktosten
Interesting. That orange hand looks a lot more "proper" orange than the version I got on the asian movement version. It was almost bright red.
freddy333
Definitely, a step in the right direction. Needs a more accurate cyclops (magnification a bit too low) to reach the Big Leagues, but I am impressed how quickly Josh fixed the dial (relocating the index markers closer to the dial's periphery). FxrAndy
will a cyclops 116 fit these as i just got a decent version of these for another member at a good price here are the dimentions
JohnCocktosten
The 116 fits nice and snug on the crystal ring and the bezel will push down right around the crystal with a bit of pressure. At least with mine. Not sure if there are wide variances case to case. Also, the date mag is almost spot on with the gens I compared to.

redwatch
Wow Marty. Looking good. Fix that crystal and I think you've got yourself a winner. The date mag on your old one that I bought was incredible!
JohnCocktosten
Did you use a gen 116 or one from Clark? Genuine. By the way, I had a Clark and tried it too. Similar results, though not as crisp and just a cheaper look.
gplracer
wow Marty that looks great! What would be the proper if you did replace the crystal what is the proper one?
pr0digy30
Saw someone on RG use a Cousins crystal... looked good. Though I have no idea how it compares with a Gen 116.
Dizzy
Wow that looks really good... Im not a huge fan of these explorers, but its such an accurate platform for modding that i may have to build one just for fun!
crockey
Looks great. I have one on the way as well.
Martyd3
Guys, I was looking at the date window. It looks a little on the small side to me and you can't tell from the pics if it's beveled or not. I was thinking about ordering a Yuki dial. I know it's not perfect, but I've handled one in the past and it is very nice. I may swap it out? Your thoughts?

Similar results, though not as crisp and just a cheaper look. interesting, I tried one from OFrei, doesn't fit at all. I noticed almost all generic Rolex plexies from OFrei are totally out of specs. Also OFrei is expensive. Good news to know those from Clark fit as I have a few on the way.
