Drulee Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 Check out Josh's site, Perfect Clones
redwatch Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 Holy crap! Awesome! I will be very interested to see how this movement pans out. I like Josh's comment "This is da Bomb!!"
Drulee Posted September 9, 2010 Author Report Posted September 9, 2010 I love hey the call it an exact copy of the Swiss 7750 Date wheel also looks to be more sunken than my ETA 7753 250, and not sure the bezel is the higher one - too many damned watermarks... But they did lume the numbers on the 6'oclock sub-dial, too bad you know they'll have to be relumed and neither Zig nor Vac do those.
Drulee Posted September 9, 2010 Author Report Posted September 9, 2010 Why does the lume pic have a green tint to it? I mean the whole pic, case included, not just lumed markers.
siesta181 Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 Not too excited about the movt itself until someone does a teardown but the dial would be a good upgrade to my 7753 250. Smaller subsials = more accurate than the 7753 250 dials out there in the market. Other than that, the bezel does not look like the higher bezel found on ELs 7750
Jawo Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 It still does look much better than the previous versions but there are still some flaws. Here is my gen Daylight 251 for comparison.
importr Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 I'm very excited about the movt (if it is indeed an exact copy of the 7753), because now this applies to all of the current 3,6,9 reps! Imagine that!
Jawo Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 I'm very excited about the movt (if it is indeed an exact copy of the 7753), because now this applies to all of the current 3,6,9 reps! Imagine that! Agreed!!! This will add a whole new era to reps.
subbiesrock Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 Three words: Breitling Tricompax Navitimer ;o)
Jawo Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 I wonder if these movements will be available to purchase separately? That would the real bomb
AmStaFF Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 great news, i think i order a 250 what is the different between the 236 and the 250?
dadog13 Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 great news, i think i order a 250 what is the different between the 236 and the 250? i think that the only difference is that one of them comes with the SS bracelet (236), while the other has a leather strap (250)
AmStaFF Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 thanks Dog why these watches comes not on the new style Pam Bracelet?
subbiesrock Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 I love hey the call it an exact copy of the Swiss 7750 He just copy/pastes his listings like every seller/eBay junkie does, bound to be a slip up. And, it seems it's already corrected. He's fast, that Josh
thogaa Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 I just pulled the trigger on one. Will post pics when it gets here
maxman Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 I have to admit that Im really excited about this movement. I love my 250, sunkin dw and all. But this new one seems to address this mayjor flaw. I think I will order the white dialed 251
cskent69 Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 It still does look much better than the previous versions but there are still some flaws. Here is my gen Daylight 251 for comparison. Any chance you can show side pictures to highlight the bezel height? I am betting that although we can't see it, the nezel height is right on these. I am most worried about the cg. Since these are specializes cg's there is no way to fix with a swap out.
StormTooper4 Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 Great lume the whole watch glows seriously they are great looking watches the rollerball Crown gaurds look very good though it does stick out a bit too much
Watchmeister Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 Can't wait to see pics of the actual rep. I hope they get around to the 187 as well.
AmStaFF Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 Can't wait to see pics of the actual rep. I hope they get around to the 187 as well. +1 a ultimate 187 would be nice
Mickey Padge Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 Seems like now is the time to test Josh's new QC procedure!
coolfire Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 Can't wait to see pics of the actual rep. I hope they get around to the 187 as well. Agreed.
importr Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 i think that the only difference is that one of them comes with the SS bracelet (236), while the other has a leather strap (250) You forgot to mention the little dimples on the strap lugs - which the gen 250 has, and this new rep also has! I would have already ordered one if it wasn't for my heavily modded 250
