Martyd3 Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 As some of you know, my dad passed away a week ago. I found his old digital Seiko in one of his "junk" drawers. I just finished fixing it up. I didn't want to over restore it. I think it turned out great Before After
redwatch Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 Looks amazing Marty! Very well done. I think your judgement to not restore it to "factory new" condition was a good call
dluddy Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 Came out great Marty. Wear it with pride
Eton Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 It turned out great! Wear it in good health Marty!

Major_Error Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 That really brought me back to the happy 70'th! Those watches was really popular! Oh boy how much I wanted one of those.... Wonderful work! Take good care of that old piece of history!
jmb Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 I'm sure this will be priceless to you, and so it should. I used to wear one of those, and a later model with chrono functions. I think they were the best digital watches out there. It looks good, excellent! I've got my ol' man's Seiko in a drawer, somewhere, it's analog and extremely thin. Guess I need to find it and see if it still works.
