Date wheel's a big tell .. inverted black/white on Gen.

Nice watch, besides the date wheel, I wonder if everything looks and works as it should.

One other big tell is that the date window is round and on the gen square,also lume sticks too fat.

They always have to F@#$% something up

BIG FAIL... pricing should be around $240 with eta, heard from a chinese friend...

Datewheel is white, 12 o'clock marker should be 2 separate sticks, case is way too thick, metal surrounds on markers too thick, bezel screws should be slightly recessed, round date window...

I bet they used the ROO's case or a version of it, hence the tickness. Mind you, I like the ticker ROO case, but yeah, it's not correct for the diver...

Definitely disappointed with this effort, and I have to say that I am surprised with such an obvious flaw.

I was really looking forward to the getting the diver, but will be waiting for the next version. Let's hope they nail it next time, and we don't end up with a V5 AP Diver.

That is wonderful to hear! I don't know why they even rushed out with this half-baked rep anyway?! Do they really think we will overlook obvious flaws just because it's the Holiday season?!

oh, excellent then. Surely, V2 will be much better than V1, but not as good as V3 which will have the improvements of V2 alas with the flaws of V1...

Mmmmh, Josh removed it from his page.

It looks like a China-edition, a first attempt, a prototype-rep.....all fláws are mentioned before and here is my additional input (might be helpful for Josh and the factory):

- the printing "Audemars Piguet" and "300m/1000ft", "AUTOMATIC" should be printed on a seperate plate and those are glued to the dial!

- the lume filling of the stick markers is way too thin

...well and the other flaws.....

BUT I would get one piece as soon as they will re-do the datewheel/datewindow....for all the other flaws I do not care too much.

At least the new rubber strap and the caseback looks like a match (No. 0009 looks a bit too near to lucky number !
