sneed12
Needs black hands and dial marker surrounds, IMO. But I do like it.
redwatch
Never seen a white dial submariner, but the one in the pics has aged beautifully! That tritium lume looks amazing!
Ronin
Needs black hands and dial marker surrounds, IMO. But I do like it. +1, if a White Explorer II and Submariner had sex, that could make it look perfect. Black Hands and surrounds:
alligoat
I don't know about the dial, but the rest of the watch looks like a gen 16800 to me. The second pic shows the slightly shallower rehaut (than a 16610). The dial looks pretty good also, dial print, etc. And the lume on the dial and the hands match very well! wheaton26
a white submariner with white ceramic bezel would be a hot watch for women.
mjmurphy926
I've always loved white dial watches in pictures. I've owned a few, but every time I buy one, it just doesn't seem to look quite right on my wrist.
grifter
That looks pretty cool! Like the 6542 pan-am white dials.
Ronin
I've always loved white dial watches in pictures. I've owned a few, but every time I buy one, it just doesn't seem to look quite right on my wrist. Agreed, white can be tricky. For starters it makes the watch look larger. I had Chopard MMXL white face that even at 44mm (my limit), wore like a 50mm alarm clock. I think the typical Rolex size 40mm and less/vintage are the sweet spot for the average sized male wrist. Also, skin complexion. If you are very pale, not enough contrast. The new 41mm Rolex Milgauss in white face also looks abnormally large compared to the black dial counterpart. Irontomkidd
I love it… I am a black Sub hater, so any other variant gets the
flex
Thanks for the pics. I have always heard about the White Sub. now I finally see it. Everything looks good from the pics.
AlexGucci
Thanks to all I'm happy you like this submariner. The white dial is unusual for this model but makes a nice effect. Sorry for my bad English! Alex G.
alligoat
We'd love to hear about the dial Alex- it looks like gen printing etc.
highoeyazmuhudee
that dial's missing an 'i'
alligoat
that dial's missing an 'i' And part of the 'D' also. But the dial print is consistent with a mid 80's tritium sub dial and the aging of the tritium on the dial and hands (as well as the pearl) backs it up. The dial looks too good to be a fake, IMO. But I've also never seen or heard of a true 'white dialed' sub.

highoeyazmuhudee
apparently the dial is genuine and this is the result of environmental wear and tear
panerai153
That looks really nice. It seems like I read or saw somewhere years ago that someone, possibly in the UK, was customizing Submariners with this white dial option, I suppose sort of like folks who put serti dials and diamond bezels on Subs! Obviously these were done a while back, as the tritium has aged nicely and the dial has some wear.
