Off to France next Monday for another three months touring. Will keep the log going with pictures. Will be wearing my IWC 3717 Chrono. Perfect size, balance, style and easy to read at a glance.

I'd like to say though, that many of you have kept the torch running well. I'm not on here as often as I wish I could be, but when I am, there is still a great deal of kindness and sincerity around the love of horology that abounds here. A tribute to those who started this site and continue to keep it alive.

I miss Demsey and JonThe Boy!! Both top quality members and I used to get to enjoy annoying JTB on the bikes as he lives beside one of THE best biking roads in the UK!!

Bring back JTB and DMZ!! Oh and Puggles, everyone misses Pugs and his excitable bucket!!

Sixx :bones:

You can say what you want about guys like TTK, Pug, Klink, etc., but they certainly made for some good entertainment. I can remember days when I couldn't wait to get on the computer to find out wat was going on. Really miss guys like D4M and, even though he is still here from time to time, ByTor. Those certainly were the days!

We're living in the good ol' days my friend...

We just don't recognize it until tomorrow...

Right you are M. I look back and realize I was young at the the time I thought I was so old.

Reviving dead threads is like Viagra, it feels good if the subject is always beautiful no matter how old it gets (like fine wine and a fine woman). Hiya Puggy.

Well I know I'm an older member, had my 52nd yesterday, but I feel like death warmed up this morning....gotta learn to party in moderation :wounded1:

Hi Puggy. :D

Ken

Ken, you took another trip around the sun? Belated Happy Birthday big guy! I just had my 64th last month (So don't feel too bad! My wife will still "feeds me, she still needs me"). Only Offshore (Alan), JeffG and DLGates (Dave) is older than me, I believe of the old crowd. JeffG said that he visited Dave up in Portland,Oregon for a few days on Dave's dime in May, even though Dave is suffering from infirmities of decrepitude, it was constant Jazz clubs & smokes. If I'm still drinking (only one) triple vodka martini still made by my
(whatawaytago!), there is still hope for us "old-timers" you young whippersnapper you! Age will automatically lead you down the path to your body's own level of natural moderation/pain whether you want to or not, so don't sweat it. Remember when life was "only" just a pain in the ass! :victory:
