PhilFree Posted December 31, 2011 Author Report Posted December 31, 2011 So beautiful! More photos!! As you wish.
cornerstone Posted December 31, 2011 Report Posted December 31, 2011 Pure watch love. It's outstanding.
panermaniac Posted December 31, 2011 Report Posted December 31, 2011 Gorgeous! but I think they forgot to install the crystal I wanna see this baby in full color!
Jurgenk Posted December 31, 2011 Report Posted December 31, 2011 What a beauty -- this is what gen money should be spent on, heirloom pieces like these Especially since rep makers have essentially mastered non haute horologerie
dluddy Posted December 31, 2011 Report Posted December 31, 2011 Very beautiful - watch porn at its best. Congrats
krpster Posted December 31, 2011 Report Posted December 31, 2011 Gorgeous. So clean and sexy. Great shots too.
subbiesrock Posted December 31, 2011 Report Posted December 31, 2011 There are not enough superlatives to describe this... Absolutely stunning
redwatch Posted December 31, 2011 Report Posted December 31, 2011 Oh my my my!!! That is simply beautiful! Nice pick up there! Amazing photos as well!
StormTooper4 Posted December 31, 2011 Report Posted December 31, 2011 Sweet movement great looking watch
subbiesrock Posted December 31, 2011 Report Posted December 31, 2011 Just realized, the Watch Snob would be creaming his pants at your purchase he loves the old AL&S
Jkay Posted December 31, 2011 Report Posted December 31, 2011 For those with more limited funds ... the venerable replica http://www.1-pc8838.com/al01041-1815-classic-ssle-white-asian-unitas-6498-p-8782.html You will probably have to click that link twice. Josh has an oddball web site, with an unfortunate oddball design.
PhilFree Posted January 2, 2012 Author Report Posted January 2, 2012 Thanks everyone for the compliments. I have a FP Journe on my list for my next watch.
mikellem Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 JKAY, PM me the link... The board disconnected your link! Thanks, MM
Adeodatus Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 @mikellem www.1-pc8838.com/al01041-1815-classic-ssle-white-asian-unitas-6498-p-8782.html But unfortunately the rep is not even close to this beauty. It's the little things like the font thickness and the dial details that make this watch perfect in my opinion.
Jkay Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 There is a classic 1815 replica and there is a very recent model as well. I know Josh's site hates external links .. the easiest way for you is to use Josh's Advanced Search feature and search "1815" .. thats what I did to find the models he carries. The older 1815 model has a fantasy dual-barrel winding spring and is very impressive to look at.
Jkay Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 Wooow is it a gen ?? Really nice The replica 1815's movement is nice, and very unique, but the replica does not look like this gen.
jamesfl Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 Congrats! Great photos, wish I could take quality photos like that.
