watcher Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 Have a look http://www.yukiwatch.com/catalog/item/7069112/9511391.htm
watcher Posted September 12, 2012 Author Report Posted September 12, 2012 Thought it was self explanatory, yuki has listed a clone Rolex 3135 movement for sale. Is this the v2 we have been waiting for?! I like the fact it does not have markings so no customs issues!!
Ephry73 Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 Take a joke watcher. I have heard time and again from them about this being a possible item. Glad to see it. Hopefully it will be reliable and gen part fitment a no issue.
rolojack Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 That's great news !!! Let's wait and see what super reps the GZ people will come up with using that movement. Next step : a A72 for our 62xx Daytos...
highoeyazmuhudee Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 thought TC fore told of a version 2 that was way better. this is not it. factory dumping what v1 stock they have left, making way for the v2 is my guess.
mymanmatt Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 Isn't one of the cool things about the clone 3135, the fact that it has all the markings. Without the markings, its just another high dollar movement. Nice to open the back of a YM and see rolex 3135 etc on there.
watcher Posted September 12, 2012 Author Report Posted September 12, 2012 It sure is on a gen movement but does not matter a damn on a rep. I don't care when I look down at the gen dial and hands what it looks like inside a closed back watch!
dan_189 Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 No mention of fitting genuine hands as well
panerai153 Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 I want a 1520 and 1570 +1 for those!!
aeromatic Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Even without markings its still a few runs up the ladder from eta movement and without markings you can drop it into a none 3135 rolex rep, i too would like to see an exact replication of the 1530 1570 movement so lisen up rep makers there is a market for it and if they are made exact part for part this would be usuful not only to rep builders but to vintage restorers who are having problems finding or affording parts for there vintage 5513 or similar and have it stuck in a drawer, like there are so many aftermarket suppliers of inserts crystals handsets so why not movements for copyright issues they could be sold and advertised without trademark logos and mabe at the customers request could be supplied with the logos my 6538 dial was purchased that way the seller sells and advertises sterile watch parts but was able to supply me with all logo/markings the closest (looking 1570 movement we have is the eta 1570 clone that only has an appearance to the gen but imagine an exact clone that fits in a get case with gen handset and all parts can we used on a gen movement now that would bring our hobbie to a new level! Puretime superclone movement they say can fit gen hands and fit in a gen case has anyone purchased this watch? any feedback
OhOhOne Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Am I correct in assuming that this 3135 clone winds and sets in the same direction as gen, which from what I understand is opposite from all ETA movements? Unless you care about how it looks when opened up, that is the only real advantage I can see in using one. Although that alone is more than enough of a reason, as far as I'm concerned! oo1

watcher Posted September 13, 2012 Author Report Posted September 13, 2012 Yuki has said gen hands fit on repgeek. Stem issue is unknown to them!
amespinosa Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 will the gen / aftermarket gen-spec date disc fit this movement?
bones Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Hmm, accuracy aside, could you use this 3135 clone in a vintage rep and use the gen spec dial and hands that yuki sells? The thought of messing about with removing dial feet and sourcing matching hand sets with eta fitment has always been a bit of a detractor for spending that much on their dials. How about datewheel fitment etc?
Ephry73 Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 According to their sales email reply, these will take gen hands and dials. E
bones Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Yeah, what about datewheels etc? I'm talking about using this movement with Yuki dial/hands and getting vintage datewheels and using it in a vintage rep (despite the innacuracy). Just to get the gen function cosmetically.
chiman12 Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 will the gen / aftermarket gen-spec date disc fit this movement? If the Yuki movement is the same as the A3135, then yes...it will fit gen and gen-spec date wheels 1
