Watchmeister Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 So lame. I guess you can't blame them for trying capture some of the Rolex Submariner market. But it is lame.
Lobster Posted September 13, 2012 Author Report Posted September 13, 2012 Views will be extremely polarising for sure. Pam heads will drool, others will see a lack of true creativity. When I see the bezel (hopefully not made out of rubber), I see countless derivatives. Panerai is Panerai
dluddy Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Guess the JLC Navy Diver series popularity has them worried? Not digging it at all.... It's like cross-dressing
slask111 Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 I love it. Clean and simple dial and bezel. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
Watchmeister Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Guess the JLC Navy Diver series popularity has them worried? Not digging it at all.... It's like cross-dressing +1 on the cross dressing. I wouldn't be too concerned about the JLC popularity. There is none. Have you seen the gen prices plummet? I do love the brand but they are the worst for resale. I learned that the hard way years ago.
Guest zeleni kukuruz Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 So lame. I guess you can't blame them for trying capture some of the Rolex Submariner market. But it is lame. +1 LAME!
Martyd3 Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Given the basic design of the watch, how many variations are possible? What would you like to see?
drury Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 yuck ... looks like some failed genetic experiment.
mLuMaN83 Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 I'de have to see real life shots in natural lighting to really know but from those pics, not feeling it. Looks like every other dive watch.
dluddy Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Amazing how the hard core regular Risti's are fawning all over this one..... I seriously think there is no model they wouldn't like.... They are like Partisan politicians here inthe US
asciwhite Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Hmmmm.... I like it. I would buy a decent rep of this one. It has a presence @ 47mm
maxman Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Nice find A. I happen to like it very much. I dont see anything sub about this Pam... thank God. I If I see another lame ass sub I'm going to blow my [censored] brains out. Que the sub pic.
jsonic6 Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 I'm in the minority here, but I dig it very much... Sent from my LG-P999 using Tapatalk 2
dluddy Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Part of what made PAM Subs unique is that they didn;t look like every other Seiko or Submariner diver. To me it is a mistake made better only in the fact that they didn't choose an Orange bezel. Panerai has unique DNA and the more they move away from it the less interested I get, A full PVD or ceramic case on this would have been my preference By the way, just went on RepGeek and there are at least 5 threads started on this model. Doesn't anyone read before posting over there?
statikman Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 I love it, and I expect we will be seeing a very close rep very soon.
Inertiadrifter Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 I'll buy the rep but not the gen
StormTooper4 Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 I quite like it, its more Tudor Palegos than Rolez ceramic sub with the matt bezel and Ti case
sgtguk Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 Not a major Pam lover but it looks great from where I'm sitting............perhaps that's the point
LeSentier Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 Officine LeCoultre, Luminor Submariner....
