FxrAndy Posted September 22, 2012 Author Report Posted September 22, 2012 Could that be Redoupt Bob? looking from the area of Kalifornsky?
cornerstone Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 I'll give the answers to my two: The first one was next to Rolex in Geneva (the name on the building gave some good Google material to search for I'd hoped) The second one was opposite the scammer's house from the discussions this week, he overlooks a beachball shop.
dbutlerman Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 Andy - not geotagged. Google is very helpful.
Nanuq Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 Could that be Redoupt Bob? looking from the area of Kalifornsky? Very very good! Well done. Mt Redoubt, from Ninilchik after some gnarly halibut fishing. Who's next?
Nanuq Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 The second one was opposite the scammer's house from the discussions this week, he overlooks a beachball shop. "He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows if you've been bad or good..." Cornerstone: Santa or CIA spook?
cornerstone Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 I have a new one. I was here today. I did take my own photo, but it wasn't so great, and I found this better one. Possibly this looks impossible from first glance, but less so when you know a few things about it. Feel free to angle for clues and hints, but I thought I'd put up the photo for now.
FxrAndy Posted September 28, 2012 Author Report Posted September 28, 2012 Hmmmmmmm looks tasty i will start with a continant question is it in the conus
cornerstone Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 It's in Australia. And there is something unique enough about the dish to make it noteworthy (there is a reason why it would be possible to track down online). I will reveal that, but kudos to whoever from Europe or North America guesses what's unique about it.
Nanuq Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 Simple, you were on the movie set of Little Shop of Horrors.
cornerstone Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 Hahaha! It's not a glove puppet, but love the idea!! Awesome thinking. I will say, I did eat it, but there is no cheese slice there, nor an egg.
FxrAndy Posted September 28, 2012 Author Report Posted September 28, 2012 A marzipan cheese burger with egg, Nice!!!!! any where near curralulla creek in Victoria????
dieselpower Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 Let's keep this ball rolling. Here's an easy one... where was this taken? Sorry, cheap point-and-shoot. Cheyne Walk London UK. Easy peasy.
dieselpower Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 Please ignore my previous post. I did not notice the topic was this long.
KB Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 Actually CS that pickles doesn't look the real mcCoy either so the whole thing puts me in the mind of a Heston Blumenthal creation, however that would be England not Australia, so back to the drawing board Ken
cornerstone Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 Good guesses. The next clue which may set you on your way is....it's an ice cream.
KB Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 I have been googling for ages and I can't find it Ken
cornerstone Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 OK, two more final Google clues then. Some of the ice cream layers are gelato strictly speaking. I also got one other desert, and it was a toadstool.
Nanuq Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 Okay new contest, what restaurant am I sitting in?
KB Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 Well looking at that table I think we can safely exclude any on the Michelin list Ken
Nanuq Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 Hey baby at least we're eating inside for a change. Another one... Mt. Alice. Any ideas? The Fish House? Close!! Try next door. Nice job.
