Geof3 Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 Yes and no. The Rolex Oyster braclet have wider middle links, however the center links of the Black Bay bracelet are much wider and the ratio between center and outer links width is off imho. Yeah, the oyster bracelet has a one full to one half ratio, give or take. The outer link is about half the width of the inner. Early 19mm 78350s had the ratio a little closer to one to one. The Tudor bracelet is quite a bit different. Center links just look too wide overall.
DinoD Posted July 21, 2013 Report Posted July 21, 2013 Does any one have any more news?? Can't take the waiting
Noel Fleischer Posted July 21, 2013 Report Posted July 21, 2013 Yes, it seems the Rolex want You to beg them to join their VIP club.. I have seen quite few for sale, used and new ones, on Watchuseek. It's funny, because the Tudors are less expensive and 'exclusive' than Rolex. I don't know what the point is of not selling them here in the USA or UK???

I don't know what the point is of not selling them here in the USA or UK??? I've reade that the general idea was that Rolex didn't want to loose sale from the rolex brand to the tudor brand. Years ago when tudor was sold in the USA the two lines had more similarities than they currently do. I've also read that tudor is to come back to the USA this year...
fitmic Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 Any news? I tried it on at my local AD yesterday and may I say it's a great looking watch!
gavinelli Posted August 11, 2013 Report Posted August 11, 2013 eagerly awaiting to part with some hard earned cash for one of these beautys. Would love some news
Mike on a bike Posted August 11, 2013 Report Posted August 11, 2013 Like the wider mids gives it a different look from the oyster, eagerly awaiting the rep release like everybody else! Gen well maybe someday....................
cougar1 Posted August 17, 2013 Author Report Posted August 17, 2013 Shouldn't be too far away now, looking pretty good! We are close
Deckard1979 Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 I am so hyped for this one Looks good so far. Bezel color and pearl look gen like. Hopefully we will be able to preorder them soon. 1
markiemark Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 Its probably gonna be a disappointment. Just like the sub v2, everyone was so excited about it and then BOOM! Disappointment!
gavinelli Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 Looks promising looking forward to see what strap its gonna be with bracelet or worn leather!
Craig S Posted August 17, 2013 Report Posted August 17, 2013 Might actually go gen on this one, unless the rep surprises me.Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2
cougar1 Posted August 18, 2013 Author Report Posted August 18, 2013 Its probably gonna be a disappointment. Just like the sub v2, everyone was so excited about it and then BOOM! Disappointment! I'm hoping it is more laureus ingy than sub V2 Should know soon enough! Needless to say this is one rep that will be scrutinized to the death when it comes out, so many people waiting for it and so many gen owners on forums etc feedback will be massive, and thorough.
k0hr Posted August 18, 2013 Report Posted August 18, 2013 Thanks for the updates. I'm looking forward to seeing these. Hopefully final pictures, and pre-orders come soon.

Probably yes. Or they will pull the same trick as on the sub v2, I genuinely believe they F'ed it up on purpose so they can produce a v3, v4 etc.
Craig S Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 Not playing the game on this one. Gen is relatively affordable, so if it's off, I'm not interested. To be honest, I've been put off reps in general for this very reason.Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 2

atomic_doug Posted August 21, 2013 Report Posted August 21, 2013 Gen is relatively affordable That's just the thing, isn't it? For what we spend on replica watches, this one really isn't outside the realm of purchase. If it does turn out to be as good as everyone hopes it does, though, popping a gen 2824 in there might just be the ticket.
Deckard1979 Posted September 15, 2013 Report Posted September 15, 2013 I think the release will be either end of this month or October. Those are the latest pics:
