aeromatic Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 If the blemish at 4 oclock is a little bit of lume that is out of the dot/curcle you could try to remove it carefully with a tooth pick (no guaranties mind you) i have removed excess lume this way as the tooth pick is softer than the matt black dial surface try to blunt the end down a bit !try it a bit at a time with a lobe and stop if you think it may damage your dial !
Watchmeister Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 5512 - '66 was a good year. http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t202/Watchmeister/Rolex%20Pride%20-%205512%20and%20Ubi%20Daytona/?action=view¤t=IMG00195-20100604-2356.jpg 1

Thanks Aeromatic, I think I am shifting to the dark side now with the vintage look, I don' t see the blemish unless I go macro on it but I'm thinking a lot about a gilt gloss dial with golden hands :-) 1

mjmj Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 I met Minh on Sunday at his shop in Saigon. I was there for the weekend. Nice gentleman. We went through some of the parts that he had available and some nice builds that he had. I was impressed and bought a few things from him. Anyway the best way to contact him will be through his website. vintagewatchesmq.com 1
highoeyazmuhudee Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 i think yukis meters first dial is a bit more accurate
Monito1975 Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 i think yukis meters first dial is a bit more accurate I though that too but I guess I was unlucky with mine.
seafoam Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 Nice dial, where did you got it? Thanks. It's from Yuki. A bit of warning about these dials is the dial feet are really short. The seconds hand also didnt fit on my ST2130. I dont think i'll use yuki again...
