cousin_hub Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 Hi fellowsWhat do you think ? I like it more than the red one http://www.hodinkee.com/blog/introducing-the-tudor-heritage-black-bay-blue 1
sputim Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 Oh damn thats a nice piece. Definitely need to visit basel this this or next week
aeromatic Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 I like it but this new BB has lost its vintage look , at the same time giving a fresh clean look that will appeal to the modern sub fan as well slightly leaning towards the pellagos styling a little bit more ! I have not seen in the flesh a gen BB but i find my rep BB very had to get to grips with the so called big crown the ribbing needs a bit more bite i find my fingers slipping when winding the watch or screwing tight the crown i would have liked the crown to have been slightly bigger to match the big case !!!
Mendota Explorer Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 Nah, I prefer the red. To each his own, but this is way too vanilla for me. The red stands out.
Ylfig Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 Wouldn´t be a bad option to have a transformer of sorts - have a choice. But of course the color on the crown dictates that a little. I wonder how the blue looks on the current red BB, i.e. gild/gold hands and indices with the blue bezel. Even though this is the same watch it´s kind of gearing towards a different demographic. A more "modern" non nostalgic demographic - in short the mass public!
Mike on a bike Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 Ok maybe the gilt dial from red bezel version with blue bezel, I wonder.............
markiemark Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh
martijnp Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 Saw this one earlier today, looks great. Maybe better than the red one in my opnion...
lhooq Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 I like it, but what I really want is a blue Pelagos!
Ronin Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 Clearly, Tudor has the better designers than parent Rolex these days. Sign me up for a Blue Gen and Red Rep!
AKTime Posted March 26, 2014 Report Posted March 26, 2014 Clearly, Tudor has the better designers than parent Rolex these days. Sign me up for a Blue Gen and Red Rep! I agree. Rolex has made some stupid decisions lately. I'm still worked up over the white gold Pepsi.
markiemark Posted March 27, 2014 Report Posted March 27, 2014 No one noticed a different logo on the dial?
AKTime Posted March 27, 2014 Report Posted March 27, 2014 No one noticed a different logo on the dial? Looks the same to me, minus the old dial being gilt.
