cc33 Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 I'm not sure where this came from or anything about it but I found it on Ebay and recieved it today. It was listed as an Art Deco era rolex sign that was in a shop but the fittings and hardware on the back look extremely well made and modern. This pic was on Ebay with it to show it in its orig home but I really think it was photoshopped.. What say you?? It's etched mirrored glass. I don't care if it's old or not I like it either way. 2
Ezio Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 Rubbish ship it to me Looks great mate really great
imajedi Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 Def photoshopped and poor job at that. The mirror in the picture is not reflecting any of the shop. Amateur hour.
netniet Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 The photo on ebay is indeed photoshopped, but who cares, the sign looks amazing!
cc33 Posted January 9, 2015 Author Report Posted January 9, 2015 I figured, it looks brand new but the quality of the frame and hardware are high and the etching is very well done. I didn't buy it for the age, just caught my eye. Now I'll get to see it every time I walk in the house
omegex Posted January 9, 2015 Report Posted January 9, 2015 Oooh a Swiss gnome - so that's what they look like!!!!

jackflash Posted January 10, 2015 Report Posted January 10, 2015 Nice, enjoy it Bit naughty of the eBay seller to list it as Art Deco era though, it's brand new.
