lfovco Posted January 10, 2007 Author Report Posted January 10, 2007 Once you try it on you'll understand.
lfovco Posted January 10, 2007 Author Report Posted January 10, 2007 Here is a shot of the back of BR3, it has one screw in the middle.
AlexLeGrande Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 42 mm for me too. Says "look at me," but not too loudly.
Chronus Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 Agreed the limited edition with orange lume (and hopefully genuine PVD) would be great in 42mm
Pix Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 (edited) Hi, and what about trying the already existing 39 mm case of the BR 01-92 ? I fully agree on the 46 mm being too large, and definitely the 39 mm (although this size actually does not correspond to any [edit]gen[/edit]) really looks great on small wrists like mine ! Sure, the existing 39 mm rep is not as accurate as the 46 mm ones : but it might probably be easier to turn these 39 mm things into higher end models than creating a 42 mm one... I agree on the chrono models missing Edited January 15, 2007 by Pix

jfreeman420 Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 (and hopefully genuine PVD) The Bell & Ross watches are not PVD, but carbon coated. Either way this is the new ugliest watch I have seen for 2007 so far. I don't understand the draw to these styles. I think it is just a passing fad and can't believe the kind of money they are getting for these genuines. There is nothing to them. ETA 2892 movement, big deal. No way worth $5K to $6K, bareley woth the $250 for the rep.

Guest avitt Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 There's not question that this is a fashion watch, that's riding a wave of trendiness right now...All the more reason to buy a nice replica.
mikellem Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 I would love a buy the 42mm BR03... --MM
Tom Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 I work near the only dealer in London, so have to look at them on my way to work everyday. I've got quite a large wrist and the 46mm still looks far too bling. I've got a 39mm Orange/PVD and I love it - I also have a gen rubber strap and the canvas one for it, as my girlfriend does their PR and I can tell you they look great - the leather that the rep comes with does not do it justice. I can't see that the front screws, date window, rear hex bolts, crown and second hand would be that expensive or difficult to rep. This watch gets me more looks and comments than any of my 12 reps bought to date. I only wish it had bright orange lume. I would get an 03 if it was rep'd, imemdiately and I think a lot of other people would too.

lfovco Posted March 16, 2007 Author Report Posted March 16, 2007 It's been quite a while and there is no interest nor anything mentioned about it. Any news of a good quality BR-03 rep?
jimmytim Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Still waiting for updates on this one, just the right size I reckon.
richard_uk Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 I'd be in for a 42mm if they get it right, proper lume would be a big bonus.
richard_uk Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 I know I prefer the black to the SS, but not sure if I prefer the white over the orange, some good pics of a white one here, with a comparison shot next to a PAM, in his description he talks about the lume, from what he says they're not that bright, so shouldn't be hard for them to get this one right
eunomians Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 So it seems that the 42mm Br-03 is essentially the same size as a Luminor PAM. I am glad that I held off in getting the Br-01. The Luminor fits me great, but anything bigger looks like a friggin' joke on my wrist.
eunomians Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 Important issues need pix for all to see... Here is a modified comparison shot showing the BR03 next to a PAM Luminor... This is proof that the BR01 is too big for 99.9% of the human populace. BRing on the 03...
richard_uk Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 White or orange? (opinions anyone please).
scottie333 Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 White or orange? (opinions anyone please). Mine is Orange with black PVD case The white colour IMO is a bit dull and boring... It was not Superlumed though, so I've despatched it to The Zigmeister. Scottie
richard_uk Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 Incase anyone hasn't seen them there's several awesome screensavers on the Bell&Ross website including the orange/PVD on rubber, I've got that one set as my ss atm
