V Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 No AR on the rep's. Is it confirmed that the gen's do? (I had previously asked this same question) And I have previously replied.... 'They say they have AR in the catalogue.. But I wore 4 different models in an AD and I haven't seen any sign of AR... IF they have it is soooooooooo light i couldn't see it. Plus in most of the photos on PAneristi I think I haven't seen any AR coating as well...' It will be the end of the world when i will trust a Panerai catalogue for references
panerailord Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 the genuine have ar-coating i have ferrari catalogue and the genuine have ar-coating
V Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 Here is a comparison photo of the face of genuine (sold at ADs.. not catalogue photos) and a rep.. I still cannot believe there is no difference.. You HAVE to find it Btw.. the ring may show different but the watches are on different angle.. SO on the top the one looks thicker and the other on the bottom.. Don;t know if i make sence but it can be misleading..

V Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 the horse logo is different. rolli No its not .. it is the angle of the watch that makes it look bigger on the sides.... See the attached photos..

mumum Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 Well let me be the guinea pig and receive it first to tell you my opinions... But anyway. it was not expesive .. basically Kings price is CHEAP for a new model in the market so accurate.. No Big Bang prices V, I will be awaiting your review impatiently. I am getting my savings ready and ready to buy from King once you do your review. You ar right, King replies to email quickly and does have a very nice price .
b16a2 Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 Wow, this is certainly growing on me! Could take the title for 'best out of the box' rep!
dark Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 Wow, this is certainly growing on me! Could take the title for 'best out of the box' rep! I know what you mean I am thinking the same thing. This watch looks really good and very accurate so it seems.
whateveraddy Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 (edited) These models look great and King is letting them go for a great price. I just wish they would make an accurate version of this model: Edited March 18, 2007 by whateveraddy
milwaukee Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 King has these. I don't know how accurate they are though. At first glance they don't look too bad, but they are manual wind. V Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 Most of the dealers have it now but King's price is very lower than all the others
bertieng Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 Any differences for Angus's Ultimate version which he just posted today? Are they virtually the same watches?
V Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 Any differences for Angus's Ultimate version which he just posted today? Are they virtually the same watches? Quoting Paul.. All... replicas... are... same Yes they all have the same watch from the same factory.
whateveraddy Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 With shipping Trusty's will come out to a lot more than what King is selling them for and I don't see any differences.

If you look at the gen and look at the ones on King's site, you will see a lot of differences. They aren't accurate at all.
mumum Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 What about the NEW model that Sash put up on his site yesterday? watch
V Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 What about the NEW model that Sash put up on his site yesterday? http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=19683&hl= Very un-accurate.. Manual wind and an extra subdial (the one at 6 o clock).
