Looks nice. Ultimate PO with different case back and second hand?

Wrong logo still, and squiffy 6 and 12 (might be the example on PC) marker jump out on that.

Little off topic but does anybody know if ALL genuine POs have the 'globe' symbol engraved on the case back?

Apparently some do and some don't...

Cool. Now they have to get the strap.

Without the rubber strap this special edition would be pointless, I am sure they must be making the strap...

... just not yet.

... just not yet.

But they are going to make right? I can't see them shifting many Casino Royale special editions without it, since that is what the gen is supplied on.

I hear it's a couple of months away, but someone better-informed will probably chirp in and conform or deny that.

From Andrews post

Watch meantime is only avail in SS Bracelet for now. There is no rubber strap avail yet. Maker should have the strap ready in a couple of months.. Thus, please do not flood my mailbox asking for rubber strap.. It is not avail now.

Well i guess they only chaged the second hand and the caseback, everything else the same...and the caseback looks pretty bad (sorry to say this) and wrong logo again...this is not the Angus-type of high end rep i was hoping for......

I'll just say I don't like it. Even if it was repped with 100% accuracy, I just don't like it.

Agreed, rather get ultimate PO or similar instead of a "007" fad version capitalizing not really bond but a bond movie. As Connery would say "...bloody hell".

I dont like it either. It just screams CHEEEEESY. Bond would wear a tribute watch. Are we goin to start collecting lunchboxes too?

i was waiting for this one too...seems that i'll have to wait a little bit more, cause i don't wanna wear that one with a bracelet...it looks better with the rubber strap...

Nice watch, but without the rubber strap, it is not 007 accurate

It isn't accurate anyway. Bond didn't have 007 on his watch in the movie. This whole thing is very Disneyesque. You don't see Rolex screwing up their watches do you? Not what you should expect from a high end watch. What's next, a Batman Panerai?

It was never meant to resemble anything in the movie. Its a special limited edition watch to commemorate a movie. Many watch companies put out special editions, including Panerai (North Pole), Breitling (Various Aviation themes), Omega (Olympics), etc.

This is very true... To be honest, I do not like any of the Limited Edition watches. They are just a marketing exercise. There was a Panerai in Batman? What model was it?

This is true, but the LE 45 PO is only available on the rubber bracelet. Unless the factory put the rubber strap on the watch before it goes into sales, the price should be reduced to reflect the cost that an owner would have to go to to fit the proper strap.
