arminvanbuuren Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Hey guys.. this is my first watch review ever, so if it 1
By-Tor Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Much appreciated that you posted this brilliant review here as well. I've read it before, but it was nice to read it again. Thanks again for your work and effort.
dangerman Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 You did an excellent review arminvanbuuren. English is my first language and I haven't yet done a post anywhere near as good as this one of yours. Thank you for putting so much work into it. Definitely one of my favorites replicas, even with its little issues. One question though, is yours the fast beat or slow beat version?
dluddy Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Once again, nice review. A classic piece and one of my favorites. Soon to get the Double AR as well
a german in denmark Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Great review, Armin, thanks...
Watchmeister Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Excellent review. I love this one as well. The big tell tales are the AR coat, date font and hour markers. In truth the hour markers drive me crazy as they are just so fat (even when cut straight) relative to the gen. And yes I am gearing up for the next AR coat run and relume and movement/date wheel swap. Wear it well.
abat Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Great review thanks. This watch is on my "trying to resist the urge to buy" list and your review has given me some good info.

English is my first language and I haven't yet done a post anywhere near as good as this one of yours. Thank you for putting so much work into it. Definitely one of my favorites replicas, even with its little issues. One question though, is yours the fast beat or slow beat version? mine is the fast beat i think .. and as to the fat hour markers.. i asked The Zigmeister if he can fix it.. and he said he'll take a look at it and see if he can do it.. so lets cross our fingers
turboGUATE Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Thanks for a great review. You are making me to put this beauty on the top of my list of "who's next?"! JAJAJA Cheers!

Pugwash Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 I can't believe I've not commented on this yet. This one will be in the IWC guide when my Aquatimer arrives.

arminvanbuuren Posted March 7, 2008 Author Report Posted March 7, 2008 lol i think by the time my mod is finished (around 1 month to go im guessing).. my 3717 would look like this!!! sorry The Zigmeister i have to use ur pic notice how now the hour markers are closer to the gen.. infact i don't know how to tell the difference now??
shafto Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 Top notch review. I enjoyed reading it. I think you convinced me to get this as my next rep.
erwinner Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 This excellent review is nearly making me pull the trigger on this one....!!! and what about all of these mod's.... Suppose I want to have the double AR-fix, date-wheel exchange and perhaps a lume job for the markers? Is there anybody who can help me out in one deal instead of dismantling the watch and sending all parts around the world seperatly?
yaron Posted April 1, 2008 Report Posted April 1, 2008 Without knowing about this nice review I am wearing this beauty today.
