Pix Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 The target is set very high this week ! Nothing but awesome watches and excellent pics ! Mademoiselle V, did someone tellyou that your pictures have become more and more artistic ? Is that a disease linked to the boards ? I'd like to say Bravo : that's not male chauvinism, but a woman with a PAM and taking pictures like you is something really...er, how to say, uncommon ? Exceptionnal ? Serious look for me today...
Victoria Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 The target is set very high this week ! Nothing but awesome watches and excellent pics ! Mademoiselle V, did someone tellyou that your pictures have become more and more artistic ? Is that a disease linked to the boards ? Interestingly, that photo shoot you see with Nicole Kidman's figure and hands (Chanel advert from October Vogue), and the Misha-Movado one took a few minutes. I am very fast these days, since I have an "eye" for what I want YOU to see. I'd like to say Bravo : that's not male chauvinism, but a woman with a PAM and taking pictures like you is something really...er, how to say, uncommon ? Exceptionnal ? HELLO! This is the compliment of a lifetime, not an insult! Merci mille fois! (As I said, I cannot stand how feminism has made it almost impossible for a man to compliment a woman, without an assumed sexism they think is implied. This is bullpuckey, and I resent it deeply) Serious look for me today... The suit, the shirt, the watch. Perfection. @Eunomians: WOW!
freddy333 Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 My DW 6263 with a VJ23 heartbeat I see you have it fitted with one of those lovely, beveled gen T21s that makes a Daytona look like it is encased in a jewelbox. Nice.
TWP Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 I shall wear the Submariner this Monday, Wednesday, and Tuesday. Very nice Corgi! My 111H on Kevlar
mezzanine Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 Just received, my brand new, serviced MBW AP ROO. Finish of rep is as good as anything I've seen yet.
Victoria Posted November 5, 2007 Report Posted November 5, 2007 The sheen! She blinds! (Another awesome piece in this thread. One of the best I've seen in 5 months)
tmg Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 I see you have it fitted with one of those lovely, beveled gen T21s that makes a Daytona look like it is encased in a jewelbox. Nice. Thanks Freddy, I agree the T21 is really striking on the vintage Daytona's.
freddy333 Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 tmg -- Not all gen T21s cast the same spell. Only the beveled version produces the vintage Daytona magic. This is one case where a flat-top with a slant has it all over a domed lid.
Victoria Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 To this: Ooh, PAM 063 on a brown Europelli Shell Cordovan. And I don't think anyone has ever said this outside of a gay black barbershop, Dluddy, but I just love your fades!
V Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 I am wearing today and for the next days the following... Need to wear the strap as much as I can
UB7 Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 (edited) Yay!! I finally got my TT daytona back from Andrew...Sent it out about 2 months ago because the crown wouldnt wind, and Andrew had his watchsmith fix it and now it works perfect!! This 1 really turns heads! Edited November 6, 2007 by UB7

Need to wear the strap as much as I can i see you held onto your GPF Mod Def buckle i'm surprised you didn't put it on the new hide you brought back from greece though deltatahoe
freddy333 Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Wow, nice work, tmg! I am drooling without even liking that model. One of the Newmans en route to a business lunch (funny how Newman always gets stuck with the bill)

V Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 i see you held onto your GPF Mod Def buckle i'm surprised you didn't put it on the new hide you brought back from greece though deltatahoe Yeap... i decided not to sell it The old greek hide is the most appropriate for the buckle. True vintage feeling, smell and patina in the future. It will look wonderful in couple of weeks
Victoria Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 One of the Newmans en route to a business lunch (funny how Newman always gets stuck with the bill) Freakation! Do you guys have Houston's up there too, Freddy? Boo. I don't do chain restaurants, so even if the 3 hour wait wasn't reason enough, now I can use that too. P.S.: Awesome photo, and watch!
Victoria Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 Not sure why, because it's a simple composition (perhaps because of that), but this is one of my new favourite photos on the Wristies EVER.
freddy333 Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 Freakation! Do you guys have Houston's up there too, Freddy? It looks that way, yes. And it is usually worth the wait. P.S.: Awesome photo, and watch! Thank you.
Victoria Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 It looks that way, yes. And it is usually worth the wait. Well, we'll see. I've never been to Olive Garden, Applebee's only once, and I finally went to the Outback a few Saturdays ago, so I don't hold up much hope for this chain restaurant. And the only place I'll wait 3 hours, without complaint, is Joe's Stone Crab. Mind you, I never do, since my parents know the owner.
