What I am after here is basically what we had on the old site, a pictorial of all your dream watches and with very little chit chat.

So to get this rolling.....

Wow... I posted a reply but it didn't show  Maybe I hit the preview instead of submit... Anyway...

Ken, you have great taste (except for that Rado thing :whistling: )

Numbers 1 & 2 really do it for me, I definately have a weak spot for Zenith... Here is my favourite, the Zenith Chronomaster Open Retrograde:

Yes...those watches are beautiful, especially the Zeniths. But the big question is: would you WEAR watches like that?

I know I wouldn't. Give me Ubiquitous' vintage Seamaster, vintage Navitimer or GMT Master any day over these. The only watch in this thread that I'd consider buying (if I had the money) is the Hublot Big Bang. Ok, maybe the Zenith Chronomaster... although it's far from being my favourite model from Zenith (give me a Flyback El Primero any day over it).

Dunno... these are all in the verge of being "excessive bling" watches for the Sultan of Bruinei. But of course, different stokes for different folks, once again. ;)

PS: Gotta admit that UN (Tellurium?) looks amazing (from the horological point of view). But what's the time?

Here's a "real man's" Zenith for you (something I would LOVE to wear):

The | moon-phase display is computed so accurately that it deviates only one day from the true | synodic lunar orbit in 1000 years, provided the watch runs accurately and without interruption for that long. Because of this extreme precision, the display is not set to the correct date, but instead - with the help of an exact moon-age table - to the correct hour. Lange's watchmakers incorporated this amazing astronomical mechanism in a movement that is only 3.85 mm high and has a diameter of 27.5 mm.

Ahhhh... RGM... How could I forget Mr. Murphy? His creations are masterpieces! I love his gorgeous engine turned dials... Without a doubt, one of my favorite watchmakers.

I think they are located around Lancaster, PA, about 5 hours from me. I've been half thinking for a bit to take a weekend & head out there to check it out. They have a more affordable line that's pretty good looking too. Some day, maybe . . .
