Beautiful, always a favorite of mine. The only general irritation is the amount of purple in the blue but thats the case for nearly all the reps of this fine timepiece. Wear it well and in good health

Magnificent choice, Elprimerozen. Like HikeUSA said, my mum and I were looking at a "gen" the other day (I think rep being sold for 4k!) at a jewelry shop. Lovely watch, great choice, wear it in good health!

P.S.: Is that a sunken ship in a bottle in the background? I have a similar one! :p

(Ahhh. Maiale repro?)

Congrats man.

The TT Sub is different than the stainless models... it has to be genuine. No reps come even close. I've owned 3 reps of this watch (2x TW, 1 Chinese)... so I know.

Enjoy!

Looks great, congrats. That happens to be my favorite Rolex, and If I ever get one this will be it. Just wish they were a bit bigger.

Nice TT.

And thanks for the photographic evidence that you can find crooked crystals on a Rolex every once in a while... :p

And here is photographic evidence that when you have too much Gran Reserva Mezcal Azul (no matter how much it costs...), finding your Rolex (and standing still) can be a problem...

So, go easy on the Celebrating the new watch.

Megeia my greek friend, very nice sub you got there. How does the bracelet feel compared to the reps? i see you got the hollow end links. Mind if i ask you how much you spent for this beauty and from where did you get it?

...and be prepared to get asked a zillion times "is that real".... :wallbash:

I tell 'em, "ya, $30 bucks down at the flea market...."

Maybe it depends on who you hang out with, but I've owned a gen Rolex for about two and a half years and never ONCE have I been asked if it is real. Maybe because it is only SS?

Do you really get asked that? Not trying to sound like a [censored], with your financial status or career - can you pull it off?

I always wonder if these are white collar guys here that are getting asked or if they are 19 year old kids still living at home with mom.

There you go! I always read, time and again, how if you wear a Rolex - people will challenge you. Not that it is always the case, but if you are young, don't have a decent job, etc. you MAY get questioned. Even having said that, I have a buddy that got an all gold day-date (what 20-25k?) for his graduation from under-grad (before law school), nobody thought twice about it. I'm a young professional (early 30s), I'm successful in my field and I've never had a second glance. I can suspect you won't either.

Also, in my circle of friend as well as business associates, there are almost more people that wear Rolex than those that don't. When I'm out calling on prospects, there is ALWAYS at least one that I see. . .

I just don't get the posts saying that you will get asked if it is real, I just don't see it. . .
