eunomians Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 I am most pleased that this thread has seemingly spawned quite a large interest in this fine watch. BUMP!!!!!!!
dudeman Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 just out of interest, not wanting to upset anyone, is this actually going to make any difference with regard to its future production?
PAMman Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Count me in for sure. I fully agree that the case and dial should be 1:1 and should accept a genuine 2892 as an aftermarket swap. As long as the crown and tube are good then there's not much left to go wrong.
Stephane Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 just out of interest, not wanting to upset anyone, is this actually going to make any difference with regard to its future production? Of course not....but it's fun. Let's dream and after all, why not. Maybe this will help to have it in production? Who knows? Oh well! MEGA BUMP
yellomen Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 MEGA BUMP You call that a mega bump??? MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP MEGA BUMP ... sorry... guess i am being quite annoying... right

yellomen Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Let's hope they will have a perfect replica before we reach 1,000 posts... Alright... the race is on!!!!!
FxrAndy Posted January 23, 2008 Report Posted January 23, 2008 Rather than just bomp this i thought i would ask if there are any problems that might crop up with repping this one, ie is it too thin? or large or has a non standard date wheel, any thing at all that may be a problem?????
rastapopolos Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 Rather than just bomp this i thought i would ask if there are any problems that might crop up with repping this one, ie is it too thin? or large or has a non standard date wheel, any thing at all that may be a problem????? Excellent question! BUMP!!
alant Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 Yes good question! Think thickness may have an issue...then again nothing is impossible too at least this wont be as hard to rep as the Big Pilot. BUMP all the way!!!
k2222 Posted January 25, 2008 Author Report Posted January 25, 2008 Angus emailed me last night, they are thinking about it, so this is a good sign!
alant Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 Oh that's indeed another step ahead...good news! If they are thinking between this and the big pilot I can understand.... are they?
puttputt Posted January 25, 2008 Report Posted January 25, 2008 C'mon Angus, go for it! This would be a huge hit... you can feel the excitement. The people want a Mark XVI. Once its out and we tell everybody how awesome it is, you will have to contract with a second factory to up production to keep up with demand!
FxrAndy Posted January 26, 2008 Report Posted January 26, 2008 But make it well, use the people here to get it right first time, we only need 1 generation on this!
