Beautiful choices, both, Jay!

I love cars. I don't have any pics of my Subaru Legacy GT wagon but I'll tell ya what. A $600 ECU flash puts it at about 300hp and 300lb/ft at the flywheel and I *still* get 29mpg on the express way. Manual transmission, fun to drive and can still haul the new coffee table the wife just bought! Just about perfect, IMO.

I'd love a BMW 540 wagon, though. I wonder if they made any of those with a manual........?

Yes I am abit of a car nut. I used to own the DOHC Vtec civics in my teenage years, never got around to going on any track days unfortunately. I think my three favourite cars are;

Aston Martin DB5

Pagani Zonda F

Ferrari 250GTO

I think Audi have certainly made the top of my favourite brand list. Design is subtle, but performance and quality is on a par with the best. Don't get me started on the R8

EDITED UncleJay, that is a beautiful Stingray! I have a second cousin in the US who used to own one. They are such a bnice looking car! What are they like to drive? Are they fairly reliable for their age?

I've seen the 540 is auto-stick and straight manual, straight off the ship. BTW, that's a BMW ship behind Tiger!

After watching that movie "Signal 30" I stay as far away from automobiles as humanly possible, unless absolutely positively necessary. For me, the quality of a car is directly proportional to the amount of airbags it houses.

Lorraine will start up after weeks of sitting in the garage, with a deep sexy sound, hold you close, and love you .... as a lady always does. Really, she's a great driver and very reliable.

There's only one watch you can wear while driving that: Omega Speedmaster.

Moonwatch in a Stingray, it's the only way. Ask Jim Lovell, Alan Sheperd, etc.

Current- 2007 Infiniti G (probably selling)

Both stunners Jay ...really hard to decide ...that Stingray is a real looker but the 750/40 (?) ...is very nicely pimped

I have a love hate relationship with cars ....love them ...but hate what they cost!!

Current ride is 540 M Sport - 2005

Had a 2003 330D M Sport which was by far my favourite ....the torque was awesome.

Had Audi TT , S3, BMW 320is Coupe all within the last 7 years.

My main issue is mileage / depreciation ...it's a no win siuation for me.

In the last 12 years I have clocked up over 1,000,000 Kilometers...I kid you not

Well I tend to stick with American Muscle seeing as I can work on just about any piece of it that should happen to break.

Mustang GT, some suspension work, built 10:1 compression motor with a 150 shot of nitrous. Could bring it to the track and run low 11's and still get 20mpg in the city.

My current car. Mach 1 full exhaust, 4.30 gears, tuned, and will hit high 11's. Still trying to stay n/a for a while and leave the factory suspension in tact for a while.

After 19" rims, yokohama AVS sports, Brulen race exhaust. GOD I LOVE THIS CAR

1998 Grand CHerokee Limited. Up country suspension, custom made HID Valeo projector headlights with bosch ballasts and philips D2S 4300k burners (bulbs). All HID parts are custom mounted and conceiled inside the stock headlight housing and front glass. Pretty sweet.

Great cars all guys, BTW I have a special place in my heart for Mustangs. My first car was a '69 coupe, followed by a McLaren, then a SALEEN, and finally had to go with a Thunderbird SC. Now I have an '07 Elanore as well ..... if my Son will ever park it. ;)
