t Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 Ok guys i am in negotiations with my supplier i think we could realise this RWG crown project until late August 2008 first batch of 500 pieces. 400 for Unitas and 100 for 7750. 400 in satin finish and 100 in Titan. Yes real Titan!!!!! price will be approx 20-25
V Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 6497 = 1.2mm stem asian 7750 = 1.2mm stem (or 0.9mm)????? YES Excellent news t... btw we are getting close to a 1:1 Pam
Watchmeister Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 You are right on both counts. Unitas = 1.2mm. 7750 = 0.9. You can also us 1.2mm on 7750's. But most other automatics take 0.9 only (2836, 2893/2), etc. Best of luck with the project. Looking forward to seeing the results.
Watchmeister Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 Panera- It may work for 7750's but you are losing all the other automatics. My latest Asian 7750 (not on a PAM though) took a 0.9. It kind of doesn't matter as there is enough room for a stem adapter in any case. I do hope we don't end up with only 1.2's.
jaykeem Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 T - good to hear the update on these crowns, I'll be looking forward to picking up 5-6 of these crowns for the 6497 movement in satin.
Sir-Lancelot Posted June 19, 2008 Report Posted June 19, 2008 Excellent news and the prices are reasonable. Now to find a good dial to go with the V CG and the T crown.............
